    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocative motion driving device which achieves downsizing and space saving thereof without carrying out complicated control. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the reciprocative motion driving device, in order to automatically open/close a trunk lid 1 by rocking motion of an output shaft 7a of an actuator 7, a first link 8 is fixed to the output shaft and a second link connected to the first link is connected to an arm 4b coupled to the trunk lid in one body. Then the first link is rocked on one side of the output shaft closer to the trunk lid. Thus a space for rocking of the first link need not be secured on one side of the actuator, opposed to the trunk lid, and therefore a luggage space in a trunk room is expandable, accordingly. Further the second link is displaced in a space between the output shaft and the trunk lid, but the second link is displaced in an almost parallel manner, and therefore a wide space need not be secured between the output shaft and the trunk lid, which enables arrangement of the actuator to a location as close to the trunk lid as possible.
