PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guidance device capable of calculating power consumption of an electric vehicle driven by a secondary battery during its driving on a route to a destination, and capable of showing a calculation result to a driver.SOLUTION: The route guidance device is provided with: a route search part which searches more than one route for going to a predetermined destination by an electric vehicle driven by a secondary battery; a power consumption calculation part which calculates power consumption of the electric vehicle in the drive to the destination on a route searched by the route search part based on information regarding power consumption in a run of the electric vehicle and geographic information regarding the route.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map display device, a map display method, and a computer program for displaying minimum charge time required driving to a destination so that a user can grasp the time easily without forcing complex and long-term operation to a user. SOLUTION: The map display device acquires the current SOC value of a battery 7 in a hybrid vehicle using an engine 4 and a drive motor 5 in combination, information on the shapes and gradients of roads around the vehicle, traffic information, learning information, and the like. Then, based on the acquired information, the map display device calculates for each of multiple charging time periods a travelable range of the vehicle after charging the battery 7. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a method for determining a route for a hybrid vehicle, the hybrid vehicle having at least two different mechanisms for driving the vehicle, the method comprising the following steps of: (22) determining the resource status of at least one of the two different driving mechanisms; (23) determining a destination location for the vehicle; and (24) determining a route to the predetermined destination location and the use of the different driving mechanisms for the route in accordance with the determined resource status. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of preventing specification of a vehicle's travel route even when tracing a road on a display monitor with a finger during running of the vehicle. SOLUTION: When a hand drawing input mode button 24 is pressed, a hand drawing input screen 31 is displayed. A crew can specify a route 34 from the present vehicle position to a destination 32 by tracing a route from a vehicle with a crew to a destination 32 displayed on the screen 31 with a finger 33. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simplifying the link of each route beforehand so that the road shape is adequately simplified when a summary map of a plurality of routes is created. SOLUTION: By creating a new link 75 as shown in (b) for a link 71 and a link 72 close to each other shown in (a), the close sections are integrated into one link. At this point, the original links 71 and 72 shown in (a) are each divided at the front and rear of the link 75 as shown in (b). The link 71 is divided into links 73, 75 and 76. The link 72 is divided into links 74, 75 and 77. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp easily not only a route but also a target desired by a passenger on the way to the destination. SOLUTION: This device can display a summarized road map 16 by two-screen display or by one-screen display. On the summarized road map 16, a description content is selected and simplified compared with a flat road map 11, and a road becomes easy to see by being expressed straight and orthogonally at a crossing, and the position of the own vehicle is displayed by a mark 12, and a traveling route is shown in a prescribed color or the like. Hereby, the map 16 has an easily consulting display form for driving. A target place such as a parking area where a user requires to drop in is also displayed by a landmark 14 on a position pertinent thereto on the summarized road map 16 by designation by the user, and thereby the approximate position can be grasped, to thereby prevent wandering driving, searching for the place.
