    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar thermal distillation apparatus which is the solar heat-used distillation apparatus (a water transportation apparatus or a water purification apparatus) and the energy utilization efficiency of which is increased so that the function of generating fresh water or transporting water is enhanced. SOLUTION: The solar thermal distillation apparatus comprises an aqueduct 10, an evaporation cap 12 and a condenser 16. A charcoal particle 24 is packed in a water retention space 22. A sealing faucet 26 having at least one water intake 26A is arranged at the bottom end of the aqueduct 10. An intermediate part 20 is constituted as an exposed transparent section. The water in a warming part 20A is warmed by sunlight 40, the upward movement of the warmed water is promoted and the evaporation function of the evaporation cap 12 is also promoted. The water in the evaporation cap 12 is evaporated by sunlight 42 and steam is condensed in the condenser 16. A water pouring mechanism 32 is used for forming a water column in the water retention space 22 in the initial state. Water can be transported to the horizontal direction by using the principle.
