PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for production of a fine particle which enable immediate acquisition of a fine particle of a specified particle size containing desired ingredients in a sealed system.SOLUTION: A fine particle production apparatus 1 comprises: a centrifuge tube 10; a cartridge 20 which includes a storage chamber 21 for storing a liquid and is inserted into the centrifuge tube 10; a droplet tube 23 provided on a surface of the cartridge 20 inserted into the centrifuge tube 10 which surface is directed to the tip side of the centrifuge tube 10; a discharge outlet 13 for a fine particle S which is provided on the tip side of the centrifuge tube 10; and a lid 43 closing the discharge outlet 13. The cartridge 20 is rotated at a speed corresponding to a centrifugal force G, with the axis of the centrifuge tube 10 as the center, when the centrifugal force G toward the tip direction of the centrifuge tube 10 is applied to the centrifuge tube 10, with the cartridge 20 inserted into the centrifuge tube 10.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sifting and blending apparatus allowing a screen and a paddle to be easily attached and detached.SOLUTION: A tumbling container (14) is mounted rotatably with a curved screen (20) fixedly mounted within the tumbling container. A multiple vane paddle is mounted on a shaft (26) that is rotatably mounted on the tumbling container. The paddle vanes have angular edges. As the tumbler (14) and the paddle rotate, powder (P) is repeatedly dropped onto the screen to be sifted with the aid of the paddle. Further rotation of the tumbler drops unsifted portions of the powder from the screen to mix with additional powder in the tumbler body. Thus, sifting and blending of the powder is accomplished in mere single operation. The invention utilizes an apparatus having a multiple section screen and a multiple section paddle to enable assembly through the openings provided in the tumbling container.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing particles, capable of producing the particles in simple and easy steps, and to provide, in a high yield, the particles having a homogeneous particle diameter and an excellent dispersibility in a liquid. SOLUTION: The method for producing the particles comprises (1) a step of preparing an aqueous solution containing a polymer, (2) a step of introducing the aqueous solution as droplets into a solvent having a water solubility of 1 mass% or more and less than 50 mass% and (3) a step of preparing the particles containing the polymer in the solvent. In another embodiment, the method for producing the particles comprises (a) a step of preparing an aqueous solution containing a polymer and (b) a step of mixing the aqueous solution into a solvent having a water solubility of 1 mass% or more and less than 50 mass% so that the value calculated by the formula: (mass of water)/(total mass of the solvent and water)×100 does not exceed the solubility of water in the solvent, to prepare the particles containing the polymer. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for improving heat conductivity between the shelf of a freeze-drying device and a syringe or lowering the possibility of falling of the syringe in a freeze-drying process for manufacturing a multi-chamber syringe, and to provide a means for preventing movement of a gasket of the multi-chamber syringe in a method of sterilizing the multi-chamber syringe filled with a drug.SOLUTION: A freeze-drying method in the freeze-drying device of an aqueous liquid drug filled in the syringe is a method by fitting a metallic cylindrical support to the lower part of the syringe erected and arranged in the shelf inside the freeze-drying device. In a sterilization method of the multi-chamber syringe of a vial type filled with the drug, when the syringe is subjected to a sterilization process, a rear end side opening of the multi-chamber syringe of the vial type filled with the drug is sealed with a threaded cap or a flip tear-off cap.
