SOLUTION: The dye material includes an extracted substance of blue algae, which contains phycobiliprotein, and polyethylene glycol. One example of the blue algae is Aphanothece sacrum. In this case, Aphanothece sacrum contains, as the phycobiliprotein, phycoerythrin and phycocyanin. As the polyethylene glycol, for example, a reactive polyethylene glycol is used and allowed to bond to the phycobiliprotein to modify the protein.
