PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hydraulic oil composition which prevents generation of rust or sludge and deterioration of the hydraulic oil and permits stable operation of a hydraulic operating system even when it is used for the hydraulic operating system of high performances obtained by enhancing speed/precision of a servo valve, or the like, and to provide an operation method for the hydraulic operating system. SOLUTION: The hydraulic oil composition comprises at least one selected from among mineral oils, oil and fat and synthetic oils as a base oil, and incorporated therewith, (A) 0.01-2 mass% of an ashless rust-proofing agent having a total base value of 2-100 mgKOH/g, (B) 0.01-2 mass% of an ashless antioxidant, and (C) 0.005-5 mass% of an ashless wear-preventing agent, and is substantially free from zinc dithiophosphate. SOLUTION: This lubricating oil composition for residual fuel-oil fuelled diesel engines for ships or heavy stationary applications comprises (a) a large amount of an oil having a lubricating viscosity and (b) a small amount of an oil-soluble or an oil-dispersible molybdenum compound and has 20-100 total base number (TBN) measured according to ASTM D-2896 and 9-30 mm s viscosity at 100 deg.C measured according to ASTM D-445.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous slurry for a wire saw, obtained by using an aqueous liquid as a cutting fluid, capable of improving processing efficiency and capable of reducing curb loss. SOLUTION: This aqueous slurry for the wire saw is composed of a basic composition obtained by dispersing diamond abrasive grains in the aqueous cutting fluid. The aqueous cutting fluid contains a surfactant, a disperser, a moisturizing agent, a pH regulator and a rust preventing agent in purified water to provide a dispersion stability of the abrasive grains, a viscosity, a pH value or the like required for the aqueous slurry for the wire saw.
