SOLUTION: In this wood resin-based wall covering material, an adhesive layer, a strength development layer and a decorative layer are provided at least in this order on a rectangular plate-like wood resin-based substrate. The strength development layer has a thickness of 0.2-1.0 mm and a bending strength of 35-100 MPa (JIS K-7171). On the four sides, other than respective corners, of the rectangular plate-like wood resin-based substrate, the total of the thickness of the adhesive layer, that of the strength development layer and that of the decorative layer is set greater by a length equal to/greater than half the thickness of the wood resin-based substrate and less than the thickness of the wood resin-based substrate; and a sticky layer is provided on the backside of the wood resin-based substrate.

SOLUTION: The diatom soil-contained building material provides environmental functions of the diatom soil as an integrated building material by making the most of characteristics of the air permeability and humidity absorbing properties of a natural porous wood and by filling finely perforated diatom soil with higher air permeability and humidity absorbing properties in the inner space of a wood building to enhance building material performance.
