In this case, the acqueous ink composition includes a pigment covered with a water-insoluble resin containing a structure unit represented by a general formula (I), an organic solvent, a neutralizer and water. The acqueous liquid composition includes a component which makes the pigment in the acqueous ink composition cohere when being mixed with the acqueous ink composition. In the formula (I), R 1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, Ar represents a non-substituted or substituted aromatic ring, and n (an average number of repetition)=1 to 6.
