PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element having a quantum dot array where quantum dots are arranged regularly and three-dimensionally, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a photoelectric conversion element having a three-dimensional quantum dot array includes a laminate formation step for forming a laminate having a plurality of laminated tunnel junction semiconductor layers, a patterning step for forming a protrusion and recess pattern having multiple protrusions for quantum dots on the upper surface of the laminate, and a trench formation step for forming trenches penetrating the plurality of semiconductor layers by cutting the recesses formed in the patterning step. A photoelectric conversion element manufactured by the manufacturing method is also provided.

SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition is obtained by compounding ≥60 pts. wt. metal oxide fine particles obtained by firing a metal based on the whole amount and contains the metal oxide fine particles primarily dispersed therein. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid sealing resin composition which has excellent flowability and moldability and is suitable for high density mounting, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This liquid sealing resin composition is characterized by comprising silica particles comprising 15 to 90 wt. % of spherical silica particles having an average particle diameter of 0.1 to 0.6μm and 10 to 85 wt. % (the total amount of both the kinds of the silica particles is 100 wt. %) of spherical silica particles having an average particle diameter of 1 to 6.5μm and a liquid epoxy resin (for example, a bisphenol A type epoxy resin). The maximum particle diameter of the silica particles is ≤10μm. The liquid sealing resin composition may further contain a curing agent (for example, an acid anhydride-based curing agent), a curing accelerator, a surface-treating agent (coupling agent), and the like. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric ceramic composition which has a high Curie temperature, can practically be used as a piezoelectric ceramic element material and does not comprise lead compounds, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The leadless piezoelectric ceramic composition is expressed by compositional formula of x(Bi 1/2 Na 1/2 TiO 3 )+y(BaTiO 3 )+z(CaTiO 3 ), wherein x+y+z=1. In the triangular coordinates with these components as apices, the points expressed by the above x, y and z are defined as the following points A, B and C. The piezoelectric ceramic composition is present within the range surrounded by the points A, B and C when the A point satisfies the requirements of (x=0.500, y=0.000 and z=0.500), the B point satisfies the requirements of (x=0.999, y=0.000 and z=0.001), and the C point satisfies the requirements of (x=0.500, y=0.499 and z=0.001). PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a reflection mirror which hardly gives rise to double images, etc., and has high quality at a low cost. SOLUTION: A photocatalyst hydrophilic film 16 is formed by dissolving a solute having silicon dioxide which is the basic component of the film 16, applying or dropping a film stock solution mixed with photocatalyst particles 18 onto the surface of a glass substrate 12 and rotating the glass substrate 12 in this state to thinly spread the film stock solution over the entire part of the surface of the glass substrate 12 and further calcining the substrate. The manufacturing cost is therefore made lower than by vacuum vapor deposition and sputtering. Basically the film stock solution is mixed with the photocatalyst particles 18 but the film 16 is formed of the silicon dioxide and therefore the refractive index thereof is small. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic coloring agent excellent in ultraviolet resistance and to provide a colored coating film for glass excellent in ultraviolet resistance and in a recycling property. SOLUTION: The organic coloring agent has both a minute particle of an organic pigment and an ultraviolet blocking substance having ultraviolet blocking performance by coating the minute particle of the organic pigment. In a colored coating film for glass formed on a glass substrate, the colored coating film for glass has the above organic coloring agent and a matrix dispersed with the organic coloring agent. The organic coloring agent prevents exposing the organic pigment to ultraviolet rays by coating the minute particle of the organic pigment with the ultraviolet blocking substance having ultraviolet blocking performance. As a result, the organic pigment can be prevented from fading based on deterioration by ultraviolet rays. Since the organic coloring agent in the colored coating film for glass is dispersed in the film, it can be prevented that the organic pigment is deteriorated and faded by ultraviolet rays which transmit the colored film for glass. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To purify contained NOX at normal temperature and normal pressure even if gas contains relatively large amount of oxygen. SOLUTION: In the NOX purifying method, the NOX in the gas containing the NOX and the oxygen is purified under the coexistence of a catalyst and plasma. An NOX purifying device is provided with a first cylindrical conductive body having a catalytic material layer on the surface and a second cylindrical conductive body having a dielectric body layer on the surface. The first cylindrical conductive body and the second cylindrical conductive body are coaxial, and the catalytic material layer and the dielectric body layer are faced to each other, and a cylindrical fine gap is formed between the catalytic material layer and the dielectric body layer. A means for rotating at least either one of the catalytic material layer and the dielectric body layer around its cylindrical center shaft and a means for generating the plasma at the cylindrical fine gap are provided.
