PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide member excellent on low friction properties and wear resistance. SOLUTION: In a slide member 3 in which an overlay 22 is provided on a slide receiving surface 7 of a base member 1, the overlay 22 is formed by attaching a mixed solid lubricant 2C on the slide receiving surface 7 of the base member 1. The mixed solid lubricant 2C is made by mixing a large amount of hydrogen containing solid lubricant 2A which contains a large amount of hydrogen, and a small amount of hydrogen containing solid lubricant 2B which contains a smaller hydrogen amount than the large amount of hydrogen containing lubricant 2A. Thereby, a lubricant absence region 4 where the solid lubricant 2 is absent in a thickness direction of the base member 1 is formed on the slide receiving surface 7 of the base member 1 after sliding, and an oxidized portion 5 where the base member 1 is oxidized is formed in the lubricant absence region 4. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding member and a method of manufacturing the same capable of not only attaining a state of vastly reduced friction but also allowing mass-production, and reducing its production cost. SOLUTION: By applying a high surface pressure between members 1, 2, a local solid contact occurs at a sliding interface and a microscopic abrasion generates at a sliding surface of a sliding member. In a lubricating film 11 of the sliding member 1, carbon molecules 12 are contained as a simple substance or an aggregate of the simple substance. The carbon molecules 12 are exposed from the lubricating film 11 by the microscopic abrasion and a part of them are separated from the place to be supplied to the sliding interface. Because such a carbon molecule 12 has a hollow structure capable of rolling and moving, it acts as a ball bearing of molecular level at the sliding interface. Abstract:
The present invention provides a plain bearing having improved bearing properties, especially anti-seizure property, initial conformability and cavitation resistance. According to the present invention, a sliding layer is provided on a surface of a bearing alloy layer comprising of a copper-based or aluminum-based alloy, thereby the sliding layer is so structured that, to a polyamide-imide resin of a main constituent, a polyamide resin is added and mixed under a high shear force to form a polymer-alloyed resin binder, in which 1 to 75% by mass of a solid lubricant is dispersed. The sliding layer can have high toughness and strength, as well as improved anti-seizure property, initial conformability and cavitation resistance.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator oil composition satisfying both sludge dispersibility and prevention of abrasion and seizure in a sliding part composed of aluminum and/or iron of a compressor for the refrigerator, and to provide the compressor and freezing equipment using the same. SOLUTION: The refrigerator oil composition comprises an imide compound in an amount of 0.01-5 mass% based on the total amount of the refrigerator oil composition in a base oil which is at least one kind selected from a mineral oil and a synthetic oil. A resin composition which exhibits good sealability while keeping creep deformation to a minimum when brought into sliding contact with a mating member at a high contact pressure of over 10 MPa, and which will not damage a mating member made from an aluminum alloy while sliding in contact with lubricating oil. The resin composition is a pressure-resistant, sliding tetrafluoroethylene resin composition containing 100 parts by volume of a modified tetrafluoroethylene resin in the form of a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and partially modified tetrafluoroethylene, 5-40 parts by volume of carbon fiber, and 2-30 parts by volume of calcium sulfate whiskers having a Mohs hardness of 4 or less, and having, at 100° C., a maximum deformation rate in 24 hours, of 15% or less. A seal device to be brought into slide contact with an aluminum metal is molded from such a pressure-resistant, sliding tetrafluoroethylene resin composition.
