A galling-resistant threaded tubular component for drilling or operating hydrocarbon wells is described, said tubular component having at one of its ends (1; 2) a threaded zone (3; 4) produced on its external or internal peripheral surface depending on whether the threaded end is male or female in type, at least a portion of the end (1; 2) being coated with a dry film comprising a fluorourethane matrix. A process for coating said component.
Abstract:
A lubricant composition comprising a lubricating base oil, fine particles and a calcium sulfonate-based thickener, a speed reduction gear filled with the lubricant composition, and an electric power steering apparatus comprising the speed reduction gear are disclosed. It is possible to reduce the operating noise of a speed reduction gear regardless of the amount of backlash that occurs on combining a small gear and a large gear without a more complicate structure of the speed reduction gear by an action of the fine particles while preventing separation of oil by an action of the calcium sulfonate-based thickener added to the lubricant composition, and thus the noise in the inside of car generated by the electric power steering apparatus can be reduced with a low cost.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly thermal-conductive compound which has a high thermal-conductivity, has a high adjustment, is excellent in an applying property, and has an excellent thermal-stability at a high temperature. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel lubricant and a friction modifier containing a solid lubricant and a binding agent as needed in an aqueous medium. SOLUTION: The problem to be solved is appropriate to lubricate steel-steel interfaces (e.g., tractor-trailer couplings, rail-wheel systems and other heavy duty applications). The invention is attained by a composition containing a friction modifier having a high or very high positive coefficient of friction such that the coefficient of friction is considerably higher than that of the solid lubricant. The invention further relates to a composition containing the binding agent and the friction modifier having a high or very high positive coefficient of friction in an aqueous medium.
