PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet which maintains its good designability even if an external force is applied thereto. SOLUTION: The faucet has a cover portion formed on a surface thereof. The cover portion is formed of (A) a three-dimensional network structure having an M-O bond (M represents one of Si, Al, Ti, Zr, and Sn), and (B) plastic polymer particles. The (A) includes both an M1-O bond (M1 represents one of Si, Al, Ti, Zr, and Sn), and an M2-O bond (M2 represents one of Si, Al, Ti, Zr, and Sn, and is different from an element selected in M1). Further the plastic polymer particles are dispersed in the cover portion in a manner hardly making contact with each other. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterstop sealing material excellent in interfacial adhesion of the sealing material itself comprising a foamed structure having closed cells to a structural member comprising a waterstop target, having easy workability, and increased in safety, environmental hygiene, and reliability. SOLUTION: This waterstop sealing material has a plurality of concave and convex parts exhibiting a geometric pattern on at least one of surfaces of the foamed structure given by using a thermoplastic resin as a main raw material and having the closed cells, wherein a convex part forming the periphery of each of the concave and convex parts has a height identical to those of the other convex parts, is narrow in width, and has an approximately identical width. Further, compressive force generated in the foamed structure is maximumly expressed through the convex part, when the convex part is contacted with an interface of the structural member comprising the waterstop target, so that an interface of the waterstop sealing material and the interface of the structural member comprising the waterstop target are closely adhered to each other. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive coating capable of forming uniform thin film even if coating by a spray gun and also usable under an ambience of temperatures (near room temperature) in a low-speed to supersonic-speed wind tunnel test. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive coating with a pressure-sensitive coloring matter carried on a fluoropolymer is designed to mix with a solvent, wherein the pressure-sensitive coloring matter to be used is a porphyrin-based on such as PtTPP (platinum tetraphenylporphyrin). A method for producing the pressure-sensitive coating is also provided, comprising first synthesizing a Pt(II)TPP complex followed by joining a polymerizable functional group thereto and then carrying out a polymerization reaction in the dark.
