SOLUTION: In a melting furnace 1 constituting this coke bed type melting treatment device, a slag tapping port 32 and a metal tapping port 33 are formed in upper and lower two stages in the furnace bottom 30, a pair of furnace bottom tuyeres 34 are formed, and the air-blasting direction from each furnace bottom tuyere is offset to an outer side with respect to a center O of the furnace bottom in a plan view.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melting furnace for gasifying refuse and an operation method for it, keeping stable operation by estimating a change in properties of refuse from variation of exhaust gas properties without a special device such as a gas analyzer.
SOLUTION: This melting furnace for gasifying refuse includes: a first means for measuring or calculating the quantiy of refuse supplied to the melting furnace per unit hour, an auxiliary fuel quantity for gasifying and melting the above quantity of refuse and the quantity of air and the quantity of oxygen supplied from the respective tuyeres; a second means for measuring or calculating the quantity of exhaust gas discharged from the melting furnace per unit hour and component contained in exhaust gas; and a third means for calculating the quantity of non-combustible refuse of the refuse supplied per unit hour. The variation in the quantity of water per unit hour of the gasified and melt refuge, the non-combustible quantity and the combustible quantity can be estimated by the first, second and third means.

SOLUTION: The waste melting furnace carries out induction heating by applying a high frequency current to the conductive substance filled in a furnace bottom by an induction heating coil 10 arranged in a furnace lower part. The furnace shell 15 is composed of a non-magnetic metal with low electric resistance, the induction heating coil 10 is installed in an outer side of the furnace shell 15, at least one portion in a circumferential direction of the furnace shell 15 is electrically isolated, vertical electric isolation of the furnace shell 15 from upper and lower metal furnace bodies is carried out by horizontally forming dividing parts 21 at positions in upper and lower end neighborhoods of the induction heating coil 10, and the dividing parts 21 are used as permeation paths of a magnetic flux into the furnace.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone incinerating/melting system and an incinerating/melting furnace to be used for the same, applicable as a medium/small scale combustion system and as a melting furnace for completely controlling dioxine with a heat source being adjusted while supplying air downward from a caster body efficiently using an air ratio and auxiliary fuel.
SOLUTION: Incinerated/melted object materials are charged from the side face of the caster body. An upper limit temperature and a lower limit temperature are set as 1350°C or so and 1000-1200°C or so by a temperature sensor in connection. Combustion is carried out at 1300-1350°C. Air of 60-100°C is moved down from the upper part along the side wall of a caster. While efficiently adjusting the heat source using the air ratio and the auxiliary fuel, dioxine is completely controlled.

SOLUTION: In this PCB incineration/melting furnace, a primary combustion chamber 3 is formed in a furnace 1 on the lower side of a water-cooled grate 2 and a secondary combustion chamber 4 is formed on the upper side thereof. A PCB burner 6 burning the mixture of PCB oil and pure oxygen and an auxiliary burner 5 burning the mixture of auxiliary fuel and pure oxygen are installed in the primary combustion chamber 3, and the primary combustion chamber 3 is kept at a temperature of 1700°C or higher. An air supply port 15 for filling secondary combustion air enriched with oxygen is provided in the secondary combustion chamber 4 to keep the secondary combustion chamber 4 at a temperature of 1300 to 1500°C. An inlet port 7 for PCB contaminated matter is provided in the secondary combustion chamber 4, and a feeding device 8 is installed on the outside of the inlet 7. SOLUTION: The high-temperature melt reduction gasification method for livestock product wastes and discharged materials thereof subjects cows probably with bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), powdered meat and bones derived therefrom, and stock farm product wastes (e.g. the stock farm products such as their internal organs after dissection) or discharged materials thereof to high-temperature melt reduction gasification at 1,200-2,600°C by using a melting furnace.
