    摘要: The present invention provides a resin composition for medical use, resin pellets, and a part for medical use obtained by molding this resin composition, having excellent radiation resistance in which discoloration significantly is reduced even during sterilization treatment using irradiation with radioactive rays, in particular, gamma-rays. The present invention provides a resin composition for medical use comprising 0.1 to 15 parts by weight of a silane compound as a radiation resistant agent with respect to 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin. The thermoplastic resin is preferably a polyvinyl chloride-based resin, and the silane compound is preferably at least one alkoxysilane compound selected from a monoalkoxysilane compound, a dialkoxysilane compound, a trialkoxysilane compound, and a tetraalkoxysilane compound. The resin composition may be a hard composition having a Rockwell hardness as defined in JIS K7202 of 35° or more, or may be a soft composition having a durometer A hardness as defined in JIS K6253 of 97° or less.

    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for medical use showing such excellent radiation resistance as to show remarkable reduction of discoloration even when the composition is subjected to irradiation sterilization treatment, particularly γ-ray irradiation treatment, and to provide a resin pellet and parts for medical use made by molding the same.SOLUTION: The resin composition for medical use includes 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin and 0.1 to 15 pts.wt. of a silane compound as a radiation resisting agent. The thermoplastic resin is preferably a polyvinyl chloride-based resin. The silane compound is preferably at least one alkoxysilane compound selected from a monoalkoxysilane compound, dialkoxysilane compound, trialkoxysilane compound and tetraalkoxysilane compound. The resin composition may be rigid such that the Rockwell hardness defined by JIS K7202 is not less than 35 degrees. The resin composition may be soft such that the durometer A hardness defined by JIS K6253 is not more than 97 degrees.

Thus, a power cord 10 in which the cord 20 is arranged at a rear end side of the plug 50 and a pair of plug blades 30 protrudes from a front end side of the plug 50 can be manufactured.
