Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravure coating apparatus that can easily perform gravure coating as required even when a feed rate of a coating agent is set low. SOLUTION: In the gravure coating apparatus 1, a coating agent 60 supplied from a supply unit 4 is stored in a primary storage chamber 15 of a doctor nozzle 3 and set at a required flow rate via a measuring channel 18, and transported from the primary storage chamber 15 to a secondary storage chamber 21 after being uniformly distributed. The secondary storage chamber 21 of the doctor nozzle 3 is closed by a doctor blade 6, a storage plate 7, a gravure roll 2, a support member 5 and a side panel 8. The coating agent 60 overflowing the secondary storage chamber 21 is recycled from the secondary storage chamber 21 to the supply unit 4 via a recovery pipe 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravure roll capable of preventing corrosion of a surface of a gravure roll body, enhancing a wearing-resistance property of the surface and performing suitable coating, and a surface treatment method for the gravure roll. SOLUTION: A nickel plating layer 3 with an excellent corrosion-resistance property is formed between a surface of an engraving part 2 of the gravure roll body 1 and a hard chrome plating layer 2. Abstract:
PURPOSE:To fill completely very fine recesses with a coating material, improve the accuracy of the coating thickness and provide the good coating quality by filling very fine recesses with the coating material forcedly, applying the coating material to a first layer and also coating to a second layer while the coating material retains its fluidity. CONSTITUTION:A base 2 is guided by a plurality of tension stretching rolls 6, 6 and transferred from the left side to the right side. A first layer coating roll 12 for applying a coating material in very fine recesses of the base 2 is disposed on the upstream side in the transfer direction of the base 2 while a second layer coating roll 13 for applying the coating material to form a second layer of given thickness is disposed all over the first on the down stream side. Then first, the first layer coating is performed by using the first layer coating roll 12 and filling forcedly the very fine recesses with the coating material, and then the second layer of the given thickness is coated by using the second layer coating roll 13 while the coating material on the first layer retains its fluidity.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the blade device of a gravure coating apparatus which can make the contact force of a doctor blade against a gravure roll uniform in the longitudinal direction irrespective of the length of the doctor blade.
