PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared appliance which can be assembled more easily than its counterparts of the prior art and can equivalently satisfy intensity and light transmission requirements of the prior art.SOLUTION: In an infrared appliance 1 provided by housing, within a housing 10, an infrared apparatus 2 executing either of the incidence and emission of infrared rays, an infrared transmission window unit 12 transmitting infrared rays alone without transmitting visible light is configured on the housing 10. Of a light-transmitting resin on the side of transmitting a near-infrared laser used for near-infrared laser fusion and a light-absorbing resin evolving heat and melting upon the reception of the laser, the light-transmitting resin is used for the infrared transmission window unit 12.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermistor type temperature detector for a vehicle having high temperature detection accuracy, by devising a mounting method of a resin body in a metal case. SOLUTION: Clearances X, Y are formed between a hole part 21 and a detection part 4a of a connector housing 4 on a rather bottom part 21d side than an aperture 21a of the hole part 21 of a sensor case 2, and the distance dimension G2 of the clearance Y which is a clearance near the thermistor 3 is set smaller than the distance dimension G1 of the clearance X, and silicone oil 8 is retained in the clearance Y by a capillary phenomenon, and an air layer is formed in the clearance X. Hereby, since heat transfer between the thermistor 3 and a screw part 23 and a hexagonal part 24 of the sensor case 2 can be suppressed, an oil temperature sensor 1 capable of highly accurate temperature detection can be realized. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detection apparatus and its control method capable of preventing a liquid level detection means arranged in a liquid storage tank from degrading due to liquids at low costs. SOLUTION: The liquid level detection apparatus 1 is provided with both the liquid level detection means 10 arranged in the liquid storage tank 20 for detecting the level of a liquid level 21a of a liquid 21 and a control means 42 for actuating the liquid level detection means 10. The liquid level detection means 10 is provided at least at one part with electrically corrosive members 16, 16a, 17, 18 and 18a. The control means 42 intermittently t1 and t2 actuates the liquid level detection means 10. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a decrease in the thickness of a sealing film while facilitating electric connection with an external conductor.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for a terminal including a conductive member 11 having electric connection parts 11b and 11c to which a lead wire 80 (external conductor) and a terminal 72 (external conductor) of a hole IC are connected, and a sealing film 12 provided on the surface of an intermediate part 11a (specific portion) of the conductive member 11 comprises: a processing step in which the end parts of a flat rod of a rectangular cross-section are used as the electric connection parts 11b and 11c, and the intermediate part 11ax of the flat rod are processed so that the corners of the rectangular cross-section are rounded; an application step in which a liquid sealing agent is applied to the intermediate part 11a thereafter; and a curing step in which the applied liquid sealing agent is cured, thereby forming a sealing film 12.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cracks or break from occurring in a mold part of a temperature sensor wherein a temperature detection body and external electric wires are disposed in a case and the mold part is formed in the case. SOLUTION: This temperature sensor is equipped with the cylindrically extending case 10 made of resin, the temperature detection body 20 disposed in a first area A1 on one tubular end side in the case 10, and the two external electric wires 40 formed by covering the conductors 40a connected to the detection body 20 with an insulation tube 40b and disposed so as to extend outward of the case 10 from a second area A2 on the other tubular end side in the case 10. The mold part 50 filled with resin is formed in the first area A1. An insertion part 11 is formed out of resin integrally with the case 10 in an inner surface corresponding to the second area A2 in the case 10, the insertion part 11 having two insertion holes 11a into which the two wires 40 are inserted. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detection device and a method of manufacturing the same in which the deterioration of electric connection reliability between a protective element and a terminal is suppressed. SOLUTION: The liquid level detection device detects the height of a liquid level by vertically moving a float accompanied by the variation of the liquid level, rotationally moving a rotary part accompanied by the vertical movement, changing an application direction of the magnetic flux density of a magnet applied to an angle detection part including a magneto-electric conversion element accompanied by the rotational movement, and detecting the variation of an electric signal outputted from the angle detection part according to the change of the magnetic flux density. A protective element electrically protecting the angle detection part includes: a protection part disposed at the bottom surface of a recessed part formed of a plurality of terminals and a holder integrally holding the plurality of terminals, mechanically and electrically connected to the terminals via solder, and protecting the solder by coating the solder in the recessed part, and a spacer at least partially embedded in the protection part.
