摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, safely and effectively prevent red water and to maintain the effect over a long period by subjecting an iron product, in which red rust is present or may be present, to treatment with polyphenol-contg. water. SOLUTION: As the iron product to be applied, optional water feeding piping made of iron in which, particularly, iron rust has been generated on the surface at the inside is listed. As the water feeding piping, the one whose inside has been galvanized is also usable. Preferably, polyphenol-contg. water and these iron products are brought into contact for at least 4 to 6 hr. Moreover, the contact temp. is not particularly limited, but, since it is preferably at 20 to 30 deg.C, namely, in the vicinity of room temp., the execution of the treatment is also easy. Polyphenol to be used can easily be obtd. from various plants, and is, e.g. extracted by using water from the leaf of tea. Its concn. in the polyphenol-contg. water is suitably controlled to about 0.1 to 0.5%, and its pH is preferably controlled to 4 to 8.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition having the effect of inhibiting and preventing rusting by adding a tannin (a polyphenol) to a coating material or a surfacer. SOLUTION: A tea catechin extract in an amount of 0.2 wt.% based on the coating material is added to a commercially available coating material, and the mixture is well agitated. The extract is used in the form of an aqueous solution when the coating material is a water-based one and is used in the form of an alcohol solution when it is a non-water-based one. Alternatively, a commercially available coating material is mixed with a 1% equivalent amount of an ethyl alcohol solution containing 5% tannic acid. It is also possible that it is applied to a rusted area or as a freshly applied coating material. Further, a surfacer is prepared by mixing 10 g of ethyl alcohol with 0.1 g (in terms of the catechin) of a tea catechin extract, 0.05 g of a polyvinyl alcohol, and 5 g of water. The effect of inhibiting and preventing rusting can persist because the tannic acid penetrates deeply into the rust in a rusted surface of an iron material, fixes the rust by complexing, and fixes not only the surface rust but also the inside rust to prevent its propagation.

The two lead wires in the frame form the circuits for the electromagnetic lock and the delay unit arranged in the wheel. A sensor-breaker 3, at its state interposed in the sensor 4, holds the circuits in connection to prevent the automatic locking of the electromagnetic lock even after its delay time. In that state, the lock is thus not set even the user gets off the bicycle, which permits the pushing of the bicycle forward.
