Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a powdered solder, which is stable for oxidation, excellent in storage stability and has inert surface, by treating the surface of powdered solder with a specific organic silane compound. SOLUTION: The surface of a material for powdered solder is treated with at least one kind of a silane compound shown by the equation I, equation II, equation III. Where, R1 -R4 in the equations I, II, III are of an alkyl base/aryl base or an aryl base. Further, a hydrogen atom of R1 can be substituted with one piece or more fluorine atoms. A means to coat a silane compound to a material for powdered solder can be either of dry process, wet process, spray process, etc. A concentration of the silane compound for coating is desirable to be below 4% and above 0.007 for the weight of material for powdered solder.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce the high quality plastic lens with good yield, while the surface contamination or unevenness of a molding, the mold release in polymerization process and the occurrence of voids are prevented by thermally polymerizing the raw material-monomer under the atmosphere whose oxygen concentration is lower than that of normal atmosphere until the stage where said monomer is polymerized and its gelation is initiated. CONSTITUTION:Two matrixes with desired curved surfaces are fixed oppositely by using an annular gasket, or two matrixes are positioned oppositely and are fixed by winding a tape around these matrixes. The raw material monomer containing a radical polymerization initiator and other additives is poured into the cavity between two matrixes, and is thermally polymerized under the atmosphere whose oxygen concentration is lower than that of normal atmosphere until the stage where its gelation is initiated. Next, the annular gasket or the tape is removed from the matrixes, and the thermal polymerization is further advanced and finished in the oxygen concentration of the normal atmosphere. The annular gasket or the tape is generally used as the means for fastening the matrixes, but the tape is preferably used from the point of operability.

Beisides, any compd. having at least 2 acryloyl or metacryloyl groups in one molecule, copolymerizable with an acetal compd. and a mercapto compd. and uniformly miscible with each other can be used as the acrylate compd.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain the titled very fine size-controlled particles of virtually shperical form, by incorporating a polybasic acid in a mixture of resin and an incompatible medium, stirring the system at temperatures above a specified level to disperse the resin followed by separation of said resin (particles) from the medium.
CONSTITUTION: A polybasic acid is incorporated in a mixture of a thermoplastic resin and a medium virtually incompatible with said resin, the resultant system being stirred at temperatures above the melting or softening point of the medium to fully disperse the resin (particles) followed by separation of said resin (particles) from the medium, thus obtaining the objective fine particles. The thermoplastic resin is e.g. polyethylene, polyamide. The medium is e.g. polyethylene glycol. The polybasic acid is e.g. sulfuric acid, sulfurous acid sulfonic acid, fuming sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid. The size of the particles finally obtained is ≤50μm.

And, the ratio of the sectional area, or maximum opening sectional area S1, of the port of the compression part 3 to the sum S2 of the minimum sectional areas of each independent opening of the throttled part 4 is designated to S1/S2=10 or more, preferably 50 or more or more preferably 100 or more. Also, the minimum sectional area S3 of each independent opening of the throttled part 4 is desinated to 10mm. or less, particularly 30-0.001mm. . In case where a molecular component (or high-viscous component) and a low molecular component (or low-viscous component) of the same synthetic resin are melted and mixed, the mixer can uniformly mix both the components.

A molten polyolefin resin 13 fed from an extruder is passed through an annular path 14 of an adapther 11 to a spinneret 12, and extruded through the tapered introductory part 15 and the land 16 to give a fiber having a strength 15% higher than that of the conventional fiber.
