    摘要: PURPOSE:To improve heat resistance and electric characteristics by impregnating various fiber materials with a resin soln. consisting of a specified compd., laminating a prepreg with a copper foil and molding them under heating and pressure. CONSTITUTION:A uniform matrix resin wherein 100 pts.wt. at least one polyhydric phenol divinyl benzyl ether with a substituent and compd. having one or more vinyl benzyl ether bound with a naphthalene nucleus and 1-150 pts.wt. compd. having one or more maleimide groups in a molecule are main components and which has low viscosity, excellent moldability is used. Then, various fiber material are impregnated with this matrix resin and a prepreg made into a B-stage with an tackiness is laminated with a copper foil and molded under heating and pressure. A polymerizable monomer is used in a range of 5-50 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. vinyl benzyl ether compd. from the view points of viscosity control, improvement of curing characteristics and economy. In addition, a polymerizable oligomer is used in a range of 5-200 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. vinyl benzyl ether compd. from the view points of viscosity control, improvement of curing characteristics and economy.

    摘要: PURPOSE:To facilitate and complete execution of binding stabilization, by a method wherein, in sheathing for an electric wiring and the like, a bundle of a plurality of filaments is sheathed with a sheetform prepreg of fibre-reinforced plastic impregnated with photo curable resin, and is cured through irradiation with light. CONSTITUTION:Resin series, where a light initiator is mixed in one kind or a mixture of radial curable resin, e.g., unstaturated polyester resin, acryl resin, vinyl ester resin, is impregnated in a fibrous material, e.g., glass fiber, organic fibre to produce a sheetform material. Through regulation of viscosity, proper pliability and adhesion are provided, a sheetform or a tapeform prepreg, having a specified length, is manufactured. A tape of the prepreg is wound around a bundle of the filaments having a specified length or the bundle is wrapped with the tape, and after the sheathing is formed in a given shape, it is irradiated with natural light or artificial light to cure the prepreg. This method facilitates binding, reinforcing, protection, and stabilization of various pliable filament substance.

    摘要: PURPOSE: To obtain a vinyl ester resin excellent in corrosion inhibition and air dryability, by incorporating an allyl ether group in a specified product compound.
    CONSTITUTION: A product compound is obtained by reacting the epoxy groups of an epoxy resin with an unsaturated monobasic acid [e.g., (meth)acrylic acid] part of which may be replaced with a half-ester carboxylic acid obtained by reacting a polyallyl ether monoalcohol (e.g., glycerin diallyl ether) with a dibasic acid anhydride (e.g., maleic anhydride) at 80W150°C in the presence of a polymerization inhibitor and an esterification catalyst and, if desired, effecting an addition reaction between the OH group in the reaction product and a dibasic acid anhydride to form a half-ester carboxylic acid. This product compound is reacted with allyl glycidyl ether or glycidyl (meth)acrylate to incorporate at least one allyl ether group per epoxymethacryl molecule in the product compound.

    摘要: PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain the subject compound useful as a crosslinkable resin material in high yield by reacting a vinylbenzyl halide with an aromatic amine under a specific condition. CONSTITUTION:A vinylbenzyl halide is reacted with an aromatic amine in the presence of an alkali metal hydroxide (e.g. NaOH) in an aromatic hydrocarbon (e.g. toluene) and water as a solvent by adding an onium salt (e.g. benzyltriethylammonium chloride) and an alkali metal iodide (e.g. sodium iodide) to the reaction system at 25-100 deg.C to give the objective substance. The amount of the vinylbenzyl halide used is 0.5-1.3 equivalent based on 1 equivalent active hydrogen of the aromatic amine, the amount of the onium salt used is 1-20mol% based on the vinylbenzyl halide, the amount of the alkali metal iodide is 0.01-3mol% and the amount of the alkali metal hydroxide is 1-5mols. The subject composition has excellently curing properties at a relatively low temperature condition, provides a cured material having excellent heat resistance, electrical characteristics and mechanical characteristics and is suitable especially for molding material and laminate.

CONSTITUTION:A curable resin composition is obtained by mixing a compound having a maleimide group in the molecule (e.g. a bismaleimide such as N,N'- phenylenebismaleimide or a compound derived by modifying a bismaleimide with an amino compound such as diaminodiphenylmethane and still having two maleimide groups in the molecule) with divinylbenzyl ether. This composition excels in workability because it is amorphous and lowly viscous, and it can be extensively used as a bonding, casting, coating, impregnation or lamination molding compound, a coating material, an insulation material or a composite structural material because it is excellent in low-temperature curability, heat resistance and mechanical strengths.
