PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled electronic device that quickly and specifically notifies a user that the device is exposed to a dangerous temperature environment if the situation occurs during self-propelling operation.SOLUTION: A self-propelled vacuum cleaner 1 includes: a temperature measuring unit 63 that measures the surrounding temperature during self-propelling operation; a temperature determination unit 521 that determines whether or not the measured temperature exceeds a set value; and an abnormal-temperature notification unit 522 that notifies abnormal temperature information, indicating that the measured temperature exceeds the set value, to the outside if it is determined that the measured temperature exceeds the set value.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying and washing machine which does not cause the closure of the flow path of washing water or a drying route while eliminating the deposition of lint and cotton dust or the like around a blowing fan by a filter, and the drying and washing machine capable of removing cotton dust or the like entangled with the blowing fan. SOLUTION: A blade 170 for removing foreign matters such as the lint or the like of the filter 160 by the rotation of a rotary drum 5 is provided facing the filter 160 provided to a suction port to a blower. Also, by controlling the rotation speed of the rotary drum 5, the operation speed of the blade 170 is changed, and the rotary drum 5 is rotated at the rotation speed for removing the foreign matters of the filter 160 during a washing course. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine in which a time is clocked to control operation on washing based on the clocked time and, in the case of a display means being used in combination of an operation content display and a time display, a difference of the clocked time is discovered and adjusted in an earlier stage by a user. SOLUTION: From an energization operation with an on/off key 41a of an electric source to next one of the input operation, the display part 42 used in combination of the operation content display on the washing (operation course) and the time display is set in an initial time display state (a) for displaying the present clocked time. When the next one of the operation input is an input of a time setting key 41c, the display state (a) is changed to a display state (c) of a time adjustment mode. When the next one is the others, the display state (a) is changed to a content display state (b) of the operation course. After that, when the operation is not conducted for a specified time, a display state returns to the display state (a), thereby increasing a chance of discovery of the difference of the clocked time for the user. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To urge a user to reset the time when the time to correct the time timed by a built-in clock part comes in a full automatic washing machine. SOLUTION: The full automatic washing machine 1 is provided with a blower 72 for circulating air in a water tub 20 through a circulation duct 71 and a heater 73 for heating a circulation air stream in addition to the water tub 20 and a drum 30, and can dry laundry as well. A controller 80 in charge of the operation of the full automatic washing machine 1 is provided with a time timing circuit 90 and a nonvolatile memory 91 for storing the time setting time, and when it is decided that prescribed time has elapsed from the previous time setting time, displays a message urging the resetting of the time at the display device 101 of the operation panel 100. Also, the full automatic washing machine 1 is shifted to a time setting mode. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled ion-emitting apparatus capable of emitting ions effectively according to a position of the ion-emitting apparatus.SOLUTION: A self-propelled air cleaner 110 to which the self-propelled ion-emitting apparatus is applied includes: a position information-acquiring part 525 for acquiring position information on the position of the self-propelled air cleaner; and a controlling part 52 for changing at least one of the amount of ion discharged from an outlet and the direction of the ion discharged therefrom, according to the position information acquired by the position information-acquiring part 525.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled electronic device that can effectively stop photo shooting or sound collecting in a room caused by an external operation command.SOLUTION: A self-propelled vacuum cleaner 1 receives, at a chassis operation management section 51 and an image transmission control section 53, a stop command for stopping an image transmission operation by a user. Once the stop command is received, the image transmission control section 53 stops the image transmission operation and sets a command non-acceptance mode. Once the image transmission operation stop command is received, a command control section 56 notifies a login terminal device having requested an image transmission operation that the self-propelled vacuum cleaner 1 has been set to the command non-acceptance mode whereby any operation command from the login terminal device are rejected.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine excellent in handleability with a small noise caused by the vibration by using an inclination detecting means that can detect the inclination of the washing machine installed at a low price. SOLUTION: The inclination detecting means installed on a water tank determines by its detecting output whether a rotational axis of a rotary drum placed inside the water tank is within a specified range (S11) and in case it detects any defect in the positioning of the water tank 1 is assigned to an error flag (S13). Any input to a start key of the washing machine is determined (S14) and in case the judgment S14 is positive it is notified to a user by ringing an alarm sound (S17) when the judgment (S15) whether the value of the error flag is 1 is positive. Thus the waggling of the rotational axis caused by its misalignment or its colliding with the water tank is prevented and the noise-free and highly secure washing machine of higher quality can be achieved. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide self-propelled electronic equipment for appropriately photographing surroundings without receiving any damage.SOLUTION: A self-propelled cleaner 1 to which self-propelled electronic equipment is applied includes an obstacle detection part 520 for detecting its approach to or contact with an obstacle. In the case of performing photographing by a photographing part 63, when it is determined that its own machine's approach to or contact with the obstacle has been detected by the obstacle detection part 520, its own machine is made to move in a direction in which it separates from the obstacle, and made to perform photographing while rotating.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a message, indicating diverse information obtained as a result of operation of own machine, to the outside.SOLUTION: A self-propelled vacuum cleaner 1 is configured to store the following in an operation history storage unit 571: a set comprising the date and time when the remaining battery power is measured and a message indicating a summary of the measurement information of the remaining battery power; a set comprising the date and time when a still image is taken and a message indicating that the still image is taken; a set comprising the date and time when operation is started and a message indicating that the operation is started; and a set comprising the date and time of a collision and a message indicating a summary of the collision state. In addition, the cleaner is configured to transmit the sets stored in the operation history storage unit 571 to a terminal device 200 in response to a request from the terminal device 200.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage without consuming much electric power even if it takes time till an abnormality becomes clear or an abnormality is generated after the end of the operation and before the start of the next operation. SOLUTION: The washing machine includes an outer casing with an opening, a water tub housed inside the outer casing, a drum, a driving motor 34, a door, a locking mechanism 40 and a microcomputer 190. The driving motor 34 rotates/drives the drum. The locking mechanism 40 locks the door in the closed state. The microcomputer 190 controls the lock of the door and the rotation of the drum. A powered key 164 and a power relay 210 control feeding of power to the microcomputer1 190. The microcomputer 190 controls the locking mechanism 40 to lock the door. The microcomputer 190 shuts off the power supply while the door is locked after termination of the rotation of the drum. The microcomputer 190 controls the locking mechanism 40 to unlock the door after the power supply is started. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
