    Abstract: PURPOSE: To relieve a kickback phenomenon, by letting the brake pressure fluid stored in a reservoir of an antiskid controller flow back to a pipe line to be interconnected to a master cylinder while repeating an intensifying mode and a holding mode over and again.
    CONSTITUTION: A frequency pulse signal proportional to a speed of rotation of each wheel obtained by each of car speed sensors D1, D2 and D3, is inputted into a control unit 28. Likewise, a signal out of a stop switch 34 to interlock with a brake pedal 4 and detect the braking operation of a driver is also inputted into the control unit 28 which outputs control signals for antiskid control and kickback prevention in time of car stoppage on the basis of these inputted signals. These control signals are inputted into each of hydraulic control valves 10 and 12 are made into duty control for an intensifying mode and a holding mode, respectively.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the entry of compressed gas from a gas chamber into a fluid chamber by providing between a cylinder and a piston a pressure fluid chamber filled with pressure fluid which surrounds the piston. CONSTITUTION:Between two T-rings 18 surrounding a piston 6, a ring groove 22 is made, and a pressure fluid chamber 24 is formed between the ring groove 22 and the inside surface of a cylinder section 15. Moreover, a small piston 26 is air and fluid tightly fixed in the closed-end round hole made on the gas chamber 16 side of the piston 6, and the closed-end hole internal space is connected to the pressure fluid chamber 24 by use of a through-hole 28 and it is filled with oil. And the small piston 26 is pressed not only with the gas in the gas chamber 16 but also with the force of a spring 32, and therefore the fluid pressure in the pressure fluid chamber 24 is higher than the gas pressure in the gas chamber 16, reversing the pressure gradient; thus the leakage of gas can be prevented.

    CONSTITUTION: A first pressure fluid generating chamber of a master cylinder 14 is connected to each of wheel cylinders 20 and 22 of front wheels at both side via a pipe line 18 which is branched off to a pressure fluid feed pipe line 26 and a pressure fluid return pipe line 28, respectively. Then, the pipe line 26 is connected to the wheel cylinder 20 via a hydraulic control valve 34 while a pipe line 82 branched off from the pipe line 26 to the wheel cylinder 22 via a hydraulic control valve 84, respectively. In addition, the pipe line 40 connected to the hydraulic control valve 34 is connected to the pipe line 26 via a pump 48 and a reflux pipe line 52 or the like. In this case, a check valve 53 is interposingly installed in the reflux pipe line 52, and an accumulator 54 is connected to the upstream side of this valve 53. Likewise, a throttle 30 is interposingly installed at the upstream side of a connection part with the reflux pipe line 52 of the pipe line 26.

Also, the 1st projection 34 which is linear and extends in the longitudinal direction is formed at one surface near one end of the lever 26, and a fulcrum plate 36 is provided in face of its one surface. And the intersection point of the 2nd projection 38 which is of a circular arc and is formed at this fulcrum plate 36, and the 1st projection 34, is made to be the swing fulcrum F of the lever 26, and this fulcrum F is to be displaceable as the fulcrum plate 36 is swung in response to the static load of rear wheels.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a kickback phenomenon from occurring by returning the brake liquid in a wheel cylinder to a reservoir and, on the other hand, feeding the brake liquid in the reservoir into the wheel cylinder with a pump during the anti-skid control. CONSTITUTION:During a normal brake operation, an inflow valve 51, an outflow valve 52, and a selector valve 53 are at positions shown in the figure, and the brake liquid pressure generated in a master cylinder 11 by the depression of a brake pedal 10 is guided into a wheel cylinder 12 via pipelines 20, 22, the inflow valve 51, and a pipeline 24. On the other hand, during the anti-skid control, the inflow valve 51 is switched to a close position, and a brake liquid pressure hold condition is set. If a wheel lock tendency continues in spite of this hold mode, the outflow valve 52 is switched to an open position to return the brake liquid to a reservoir 42. At the same time, the brake liquid in the reservoir 42 is fed to the wheel cylinder 12 by a pump 41, and the wheel cylinder 12 is practically decompressed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To surely operate a brake even upon occurrence of a trouble, by connecting a pressure source to a pressure chamber in a booster through a dual system hydraulic circuit, and by exclusively selecting the communication or isolation of several systems upon normal operation of a computer or upon abnormal operation of the computer. CONSTITUTION:A reservoir chamber 24 in a brake force transmission cylinder 8 is connected to an accumulator 28 and a hydraulic pump 29 through a hydraulic circuit 31 having a control valve 27. Further, the accumulator 28 is connected to a reservoir chamber in a depressing force cylinder 10 through a hydraulic circuit 57 while the reservoir chamber is connected to a pressure regulating chamber (which is not shown) through a depressing force change-over valve. Further, this pressure regulating chamber is connected to the reservoir chamber 24 through a hydraulic circuit 63 having a change-over valve 62. These valves 27, 62 are controlled by a computer 7. Normally, the valve 27 is opened but the valve 62 is closed, and therefore, the pressure is fed from the circuit 31. When the computer 7 is abnormal, the valves 27, 62 are changed over so that the pressure is fed from the circuit 63.

CONSTITUTION:A booster 2 operated by means of a brake pedal 5 through a load cell 4 and a push rod 3, consists of a braking force transmitting cylinder 8 on the base side, and a master cylinder 9 mounted on the front portion of the cylinder 8. The reservoir chamber of the braking force transmitting cylinder 8 is connected to a control valve 45 interposed in an oil pressure circuit 44 including an oil pressure pump 41, which is an oil pressure backing up toggle power source, and an accumulator 43. In braking force insufficient condition, a control signal is outputted from a control valve 48 by means of a computer 7 inputting the output signals from vehicle speed sensors 6 and the load cell 4 so as to obtain an optimum deceleration with respect to the treading force, and then the chamber 48 is controlled to be connected to the oil pressure circuit 44.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To make constant deceleration attainable even if a load or the like varies, by driving a three-position valve of an actuator with a pedal-pressure signal out of a pedal-pressure detecting arm and an output signal corresponding to various conditions of car body weight or the like detected by a car speed sensor signal, while operating a brake.
    CONSTITUTION: When a brake pedal 2 is operated, pedal effort is added to a pedal- pressure detecting arm 19 whereby a pedal-pressure signal is transmitted to a hydraulic control unit 21 together with a signal out of a car speed sensor 22, and deceleration corresponding to the pedal effort is calculated with a signal on the basis of the reference car speed calculated by the unit 21, then a selection signal to an A port is transmitted to a three-position valve 14. Next, oil out of an oil pump 11 is fed to an IN side pressure chamber 10 of a master cylinder 4, pressing pistons 24 and 27, and with oil inside each of both front and rear hydraulic chambers 25 and 29, front and rear wheels 5 and 6 are pushed with pressure, thus braking them. Then, in the deceleration, an actual value of the sensor 22 comes to be lower than the calculated reference car speed, and a selection signal is transmitted to both B and C ports of the valve 14 from the control unit 21, whereby pressure in these hydraulic chambers 25 and 29 is kept up at the B port, and oil in the pressure chamber 10 is put back at the C ports, releasing the applied pressure to wheels.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To surely carry out braking operation even upon pressure failure, by carrying out braking operation with the use of pressure from a hydraulic source upon normal operation of the hydraulic source, and by carrying out braking operation upon abnormal operation of the hydraulic source such that, with the use of hydraulic pressure generated by depressing force by a foot, a change-over valve is switched to increase the pedal stroke so that braking operation is directly performed by the depressing force. CONSTITUTION:Upon normal operation of hydraulic sources 41, 43 and a hydraulic circuit 44, hydraulic pressure is fed to a booster 2 through a control valve 45. At this time the pressure from a circuit 44'' holds a control valve 49 in its inoperative condition, and a chamber 59 is held in its hydraulically rigid condition. When a pedal 5 is depressed in this consition, the control valve for the booster 2 is opened by means of a rod 3 so that hydraulic pressure is introduced into a pressure chamber to actuate a brake. When the pedal 5 is depressed upon abnormal operation of the hydraulic circuit 44, etc., the control valve 49 is changed over to relieve oil from the chamber 59 so that the hydraulic rigidity is loosed. Therefore, the stroke of a rod 4 is increased, and accordingly, the stroke of the rod 3 is also increased. This stroke causes a piston in a master cylinder 9 to directly actuate to perform braking.
