    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make driving output according to the intention of a driver generable, by compensating the normal output timing of an opening change for prolongation when an output demand variation is smaller than the specified value and a requisite driving force variation is larger than the specified value, but in case of the reverse, making it so as to compensate it for shortening. CONSTITUTION:On the basis of an optimum driving froce characteristic of the preset vehicle, requisite driving force of the vehicle is calculated by a calculating device M5 according to each output of a car speed detecting device M3 and an output demand detecting device M4 receiving an external command, while throttle value opening corresponding to the calculated result is calculated by an opening supporting device M6, and it is outputted to an opening changing device M2 at normal output timing. In this case, a variation per specified time of the output demand and another variation per specified output demand of the requisite driving force both are calculated by respective calculating devices M7 and M8. And, the normal output timing is compensated for prolongation when the output demand variation is smaller than the specified value and the requisite driving force variation is larger than the specified value, but in case of the reverse, it is compensated for shortening the other way.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent any sudden variation in driving output before and after gear shifting as well as to reduce a shock at the time of speed change before and after the gear shifting, by performing the transition from the driving output before the gear shifting to that after the shifting so an automatic transmission slowly by means of compensating operation. CONSTITUTION:Installing an automatic transmission which transmits an engine output to each driving wheel via a stepped speed change gear, driving output is controlled by this automatic transmission. In this case, such time when this speed change takes place is estimated at a shift proximate range (AI), and a schedule for compensating operation, which slowly shifts from the driving output (CI) at the existing speed change gear position to the driving output (DI) at the speed change gear position after gear shifting, is set there. And, according to this schedule, the engine output is controlled. Estimation at that time speed change takes place is set on the basis of, for example, the operated variable of an accelerator pedal determining the speed change or a variation in car speed or the like.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce a shock due to the abrupt fluctuation of the drive output before and after the speed change by controlling the engine output so as to eliminate the difference between the drive output of an automatic speed changer before the speed change and the drive output after the speed change. CONSTITUTION:The drive output generated by an automatic speed changer is calculated BI at the current speed change gear position AI. When the speed change is requested CI, the engine output is calculated EI at the requested speed change gear position DI so that the drive output generated by the automatic speed changer becomes equal to the calculated BI drive output. The speed change gear is switched to the requested speed change gear position, and the engine output is changed FI to the calculated result. That is, the engine output is controlled so that the difference between the drive output of the automatic speed changer before the speed change and the drive output after the speed change is eliminated. Accordingly, a shock due to the abrupt fluctuation of the drive output before and after the speed change can be reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve accuracy of control at low speeds, by controlling a brake device in such a manner that when a vehicle speed is greater than a set value, deceleration corresponds to a brake operating force, and when the vehicle speed is less than the set value, a brake fluid pressure corresponds to the brake operating force. CONSTITUTION:A control device 120 is connected with sensors 122 for detecting rotational speeds of front wheels 94, a brake switch 124, a load cell 126 for detecting an operating force of a brake pedal, and a sensor 128 for detecting a fluid pressure of wheel cylinders 96. When a vehicle speed is greater than a low speed set value, a braking effect of the front wheels 94 is in a predetermined magnitude corresponding to an operating force of the brake pedal 10. When the vehicle speed is less than the low speed set value, a fluid pressure of the wheel cylinders 96 is in a predetermined level corresponding to the operating force of the brake pedal 10.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To realize effective prevention of a brake squeak by facilitating change of relative position to a brake pad in a shim for a disc brake to be fixed by hooking claw parts to the brake pad. CONSTITUTION:Claw parts 22a to 22d to be hooked to a back plate 34 of a brake pad 30 are provided on a main body 22 of a shim 20. Fluoro rubbers 24a to 24d as low frictional members are arranged on respective back plate 34 contact surfaces with the claw parts 22a to 22d, so that the shim 20 may easily change its relative position to the brake pad 30 in relation to self-excited vibration of the brake pad 30, to be generated by taking the rotational direction of a direction, namely, the longitudinal direction of the brake pad 30 as the amplifying direction, and causing the brake squeak when a friction member 32 of the brake pad 30 is brought in contact with the disc rotor.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the ventilating and cooling efficiencies of a rotor by providing each disc-shaped sliding plate with a plurality of radially inclined long paritition walls, a plurality of short partition walls located between the long walls, passages communicating between the partition walls, and an inlet and outlet communicating with the passages, the disc-shaped sliding plates being disposed separately along the direction of an axle. CONSTITUTION:An axial flow is converted into a radial flow by the rectangular sloping portion 22S of a long partition wall 22 at an inlet 31 and allowed to flow into a bench hole 4 at an inflow angle of 45 deg. and then flow through the insides of bench holes 41, 42 formed between upper long and short partition walls 22U, 21 and between the short partition wall 21 and a lower long partition wall 22D, respectively, thus restraining the negative pressure face of each partition wall 21, 22 of a fin 2 and reducing a stagnation area 43 to form a broad main flow area 44. The pressure loss of the flow is thus minimized to reduce the rate at which the surface heat transfer rate of cooling wind is reduced, so as to enhance the ventilating and cooling efficiencies of a rotor 1, and also, the total amount of heat radiation can be increased since the effective cooling area is enlarged.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce a speed change shock by controlling the output of an engine in the direction of eliminating the difference between a driving force which is operated from an engine load and a speed change gear position and an estimated driving force which is operated from said engine load and a speed change gear position after carrying out speed change. CONSTITUTION:In a control circuit 30 which receives the output signals of a throttle position sensor 14, an engine speed sensor 15, an accelerator stepping quantity sensor 17, and a vehicle speed sensor 23 during the operation of an engine 10, first, the present driving force of a vehicle is operated from an engine load and a present speed change gear position. Then, when speed change is required, the estimated driving force of the vehicle is operated from the engine load and the speed change gear position after carrying out speed change to which speed change is required. And, the opening of a throttle valve is adjusted in the direction of eliminating the difference between the operated present driving force and the estimated driving force by means of a throttle actuator 11, to control the output of the engine while controlling the speed change stages of an automatic transmission 20.

An ideal car speed determining means G for obtaining an ideal car speed in which deceleration is carried out at a decelerating rate corresponding to a brake operating force, from the car speed at the start of braking which is indicated by an actual car speed from a car speed detecting device F at the start of braking operation which is detected by an operating force detecting device E attached to a brake operating member D, is provided. And, the ideal car speed is compared with an actual car speed by a comparing means H to output a signal for shifting said control valve C to a pressure-lowering allowable condition when the ideal car speed is greater, or a signal for shifting the valve C to a pressure- rising allowable condition when the actual car speed is greater.
