PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire cutting apparatus that accurately adjusts a post-cut length of a wire extending from a nozzle and that can properly change the post-cut length of the wire even in the case of change in a wire length suitable for brazing. SOLUTION: The wire cutting apparatus 1 includes: a positioning member 10 for guiding a nozzle 112 for positioning; a blade holder 20 having a wire holding part 24 for holding a wire 111 extending from the nozzle 112 and having a cutting edge 25 for cutting the wire 111 held on the wire holding part 24; a base 30 on which, for example, the positioning member 10 is fixed and on which the blade holder 20 is mounted movably in one direction approaching or receding relative to the positioning member 10; and an adjusting mechanism 40 which is fixed on the base 30 and which adjusts the position of the blade holder 20 in the approaching/receding direction relative to the positioning member 10. The positioning member 10 positions the nozzle 112 so that the extending direction of the wire 111 from the nozzle 112 becomes the other moving direction of the blade holder 20. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a build-up method by which in the case of build-up working each valve-seat part in a cylinder head, the development of crack into the build-up layer caused by a heat transmission from the other valve seat part is prevented and also, the strain of the cylinder head is reduced. SOLUTION: Since the build-up orders of respective valve seat parts 1-8, 1a-8a, are set so that the heat input of laser beam to the valve seat part built up at the number (n) is not transmitted into the valve seat part buit up at the number (n+1), the development of the crack to the build-up part of each valve seat part 1-8 and 1a-8a, is prevented and also, the strain of the cylinder head 10 can be reduced. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning system and method for a valve seat in the laser clad machining for attaining high machining accuracy by specifying the position of a valve hole with excellent accuracy when the valve seat (a cylinder head) is rotated, and a laser clad machining system and method. SOLUTION: The positioning system 10 comprises a sensor 1 for measuring the position of the valve seat V when the cylinder head C rotated at least once, and a position calculation device 4 for specifying the position of the valve seat when the cylinder head is rotated by correcting the measured data on the position of the valve seat V during the rotation on the basis of the correction coefficient with at least weight of the cylinder head and the deflection at the position of the valve seat added thereto. The actual laser clad machining is achieved in a posture with the coordinate center calculated by the position calculation device 4 as a center of rotation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more correctly comprehend a hole size and to more precisely machine a hole with a required opening area when laser-machining the hole with the opening area required for the enclosed edge in a tubular work. SOLUTION: When the tubular work W is irradiated with laser beams L, and the hole is laser-machined to the enclosed edge of the tubular work W, the temperature of the work rapidly increases, and assist gas fed from a feeding means to the inside of the tubular work is expanded, thus the amount of the assist gas to be fed into the tubular work measured by a measurement means 26 is made smaller than the actual flow rate of the assist gas. Then, by utilizing the phenomenon that the expansion amount of the assist gas at the inside of the tubular work W is made proportional to the output of a laser, the measured value of the feed of the assist gas is compensated by the reduction in the feed of the assist gas caused by the expansion of the assist gas. The size of the hole made in the enclosed edge in the tubular work W is obtained from the value after the compensation, and the correct hole size is comprehended. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hole machining method and a hole machining device capable of precisely machining a hole of the requested opening area in a closed end of a tubular workpiece. SOLUTION: In the hole machining method, a hole of the requested opening area is machined by feeding a pressurized assist gas in a tubular workpiece having a closed end, irradiating laser beams on the closed end, and grasping the hole diameter based on the outflow amount of the assist gas from the opened hole. While machining the hole, it can be determined that the dross is generated if relatively large fluctuations f 1 , f 2 of the assist gas flow Q occur corresponding to the ON/OFF time of laser beams with respect to the relatively small previous fluctuation of the assist gas outflow amount Q by turning off laser beams L once or several times. In such a case, the laser beam machining condition is changed so as to suppress the fluctuations f 1 , f 2 of the assist gas outflow amount Q. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve which alleviates collision between fuels, increases a flow rate of the fuel passing an injection hole 20, and promotes micronization of fuel.SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve 10 comprises: a housing 12; a needle 14 disposed inside the housing 12; and a plate 18 having a plurality of holes 20 for injecting fuel into a cylinder. At least one of the plate 18 and the housing 12 provides fuel between the tip of the needle 14 and the plate 18. Fuel provided from a first direction flows along the needle 14 and fuel provided from a second direction flows along the plate 18.
