    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently weld adjacent coil end pairs together in a stator in which a creepage distance between the coil end pairs is properly maintained.SOLUTION: A stator 20 includes an annular stator core 14 having a plurality of slots, and a stator wiring 21 wound around the stator core 14. Coil end pairs 16c, i.e., coil end pair portions 16b to be joined which concentrically project from the plurality of slots, are arranged on the stator winding 21 in a staggered grid. The staggered-grid coil pairs 16c are arranged in a row, as indicated by a straight arrow Y3, obliquely at a predetermined angle with respect to a straight line in a radial direction indicated by a straight arrow Y2, and the obliquely arranged coil end pairs 16c are arrayed at regular intervals diagonally in a circumferential direction. A negative welding rod 18 of a welding machine is inserted to diagonal gaps at the regular intervals and is made adjacent to all coil end pairs 16c in the radial direction. In this state, a positive welding rod is made close to the coil end pairs 16c to weld the coil end pairs 16c together.
