    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane-quaternary phosphonium salt suitable for production on an industrial scale.SOLUTION: In a method of producing 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane-quaternary phosphonium salt, 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane is reacted with an alkali metal hydroxide, an alkali metal alkoxide or an alkali metal carbonate in the presence of water to produce an alkali metal salt of the propane, and the obtained alkali metal salt is reacted with a quaternary phosphonium salt. Since water is used as a solvent, the 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane-quaternary phosphonium salt can be produced without a load on the treatment of waste liquid. Further, impurities can be separated easily from the obtained phosphonium salt only by a filtration operation. The method is superior for efficient production on an industrial scale.

    SOLUTION: The production method comprises directly reacting a radioactive halogen-containing alcohol having a structure in which one or more hydrogens in an aromatic compound are replaced with radioactive halogens and the compound is combined with a hydroxy group through an alkylene group, with any of various amines or phosphines under an acidic condition. The number of processes after radioactive halogen labeling is reduced and the yield of the objective compound is improved.
