    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for easily preparing an ocular lens material having high oxygen permeability and excellent in surface wettability to water, surface lubricity, water retention, contamination resistance and biocompatibility at the same time. SOLUTION: The process for preparing an ocular lens material having a hydrophilic surface is characterized by comprising the steps of: (1) irradiating the surface of an ocular lens material with high-frequency plasma or excimer light; (2) contacting the surface of the ocular lens material, which is treated in accordance with the step (1), with a hydrophilic monomer-mixture solution containing at least one zwitterionic group-containing compound, water, an organic solvent and at least one kind of specified chain transferring agent; and (3) irradiating the surface of the ocular lens material, which is in the state of contacting with the hydrophilic monomer-mixture solution in the step (2), with ultraviolet rays having a wavelength of 250 to 500 nm and then, graft polymerizing the zwitterionic group-containing compound to the surface of the ocular lens material and then, forming a surface layer.     摘要: A method for preparing a cyclic olefin addition polymer of high gas permeability, which method including subjecting a specific type of cyclic olefin-functional siloxane and a mixture thereof with a specific type of cyclic olefin compound to addition polymerization in the presence of a multi-component catalyst containing (A) a zero-valent palladium compound, (B) an ionic boron compound, and (C) a phosphine compound having a substituent group selected from an alkyl group having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl group and an aryl group, to obtain a cyclic olefin addition polymer of high gas permeability wherein a ratio of the structural units derived from the cyclic olefin-functional siloxane is at 10 to 100 mole% of the addition polymer and a number average molecular weight (Mn) ranges from 100,000 to 2,000,000.
