PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship that prevents hold capacity from decreasing by the equipment to spout the air in the water.SOLUTION: The ship includes: the hull; the blowers 13A and 13B; an air spouting part that reduces the frictional resistance of the hull and the seawater by spouting the pressurized air supplied from the blower 13A and 13B from the ship bottom of the hull; and the air-cooler 17A and 17B that cool the pressurized air. Compartments 95P, 96P, 95S, and 96S are provided in the gunwale of a stem 2 of the hull. The blowers 13A, 13B, and the air-coolers 17A, and 17B are set up in the compartments 95P, 96P, 95S, and 96S.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of converting a liquefied fuel transporting vessel, which can easily place various kinds of ballast water treatment apparatus in a vessel such as a liquefied fuel transporting vessel.SOLUTION: In the method of converting the liquefied fuel transporting vessel including a bulkhead 11 partitioning between an LNG tank 2 and an engine room 10, an outboard part on a board side of the engine room 10 is provided with a carry-in opening part 20 for the ballast water treatment device. Next, a processing unit of the ballast water treatment device is carried into through the carry-in opening part 20, and then, the processing unit is disposed on a bow side or on a board side of a ballast pump 17 provided in the engine room 10. Thereafter, piping is provided between the ballast pump 17 and the processing unit, and the existing ballast water piping and the processing unit side piping are connected to each other.
