    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a novel compound showing hypoglycemic action, excellent in stability under physiological conditions, and useful as an antidiabetic drug. SOLUTION: This compound is shown by the formula (R is a 1-10C alkyl; and R is H or a 1-4C alkyl, wherein R is not H when R is methyl), preferably 3,4-dihydroxy-N-ethyl-nitrosoaniline or the like. This compound is obtained by, e.g. a method in compliance with the one for synthesizing dephostatin (2,5- dihydroxy-N-methyl-N-nitrosoaniline) derivative, described in J. Antibiot., 1995, 48, 12, 1460 to 1466. The compound shown by the formula is administered preferably at 0.1 to 1,000 mg/kg a day for an adult, once or several times.

    摘要: PURPOSE:To obtain N-nitrosodiphenylamines in good yield by nitrosating diphenylamines with an inexpensive nitrogen oxide usable in a solvent without any explosiveness and decomposability as a nitrosating agent in the solvent. CONSTITUTION:Diphenylamines expressed by formula I [R1 and R2 are H, methyl, ethyl, cyclohexyl, methoxy, ethoxy, Cl or Br) are nitrosated with an inexpensive nitrogen oxide (a mixture of NO with NO2 is usually used) as a nitrosating agent in a solvent to afford the objective N-nitrosodiamines expressed by formula II. An aromatic hydrocarbon or a mixed solvent thereof with an alcohol is preferred as the solvent used. The atomic ratio of O to N in the mixture of the nitrogen oxides is preferably 1.1-1.6. Furthermore, when the composition of the NOx gas is NO and NO2, the molar amount of the NO2 is preferably 0.4-0.8 based on the diphenylamines. The reactional temperature is preferably 0-40 deg.C.
