Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caulking structure of a metal material which allows for stable and strong bonding between metal materials, while reducing the electrical resistance even if the metal materials to be bonded are different kind of materials from each other.SOLUTION: The caulking structure of a metal material includes a metal plate 12 through which a hole 14 is bored, and a disc-like conductive member 13 which is fitted in the hole 14 and then caulked to the periphery thereof. A groove 17 is provided in the periphery of the hole 14 at least on one side thereof, and a vertical flange 21 projecting from at least one side is provided on the outer periphery of the conductive member 13. When the conductive member 13 is fitted in the hole 14 and then caulked to the metal plate 12, the vertical flange 21 of the conductive member 13 is collapsed, and the groove 17 of the metal plate 12 is filled with the vertical flange 21 thus collapsed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding a wire end portion capable of molding a rectangle tip portion seen from a cross section by smoothly pressing a plurality of conductors of electric wires without deteriorating strength, and a die for molding the wire end portion.SOLUTION: In this method for molding the wire end portion, conductors 23 of electric wires overlaid with each other are compressed from its overlaying direction, and molded into a rectangle tip portion 31 seen from a cross section. The overlaid conductors 23 of the electric wires are compressed from its overlaying direction by a lower die 12 and an upper die 13 provided with molding grooves 14, 15 having corner portions 14b, 15b molding a corner part 31b of the tip portion 31, so as to mold the rectangular tip portion 31 seen from the cross section, at which each corner part 31b is molded at the corner portions 14b, 15b of the lower and upper dies 12 and 13, and a corner portion 11a formed at a boundary of the lower and upper dies 12 and 13.
