摘要: PURPOSE: A solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the position matching of a second part and a front electrode by diffusing a second impurity in the front electrode to form the second part with relative high doping concentration. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor substrate (10) with a first conductive type impurity is prepared. A first part (20a) of an emitter layer (20) is formed on a front side (12) of the semiconductor substrate by doping a second conductive type first impurity. An electrode groove (24a) is formed on the front side of the semiconductor substrate. A front electrode (24) including a second conductive type second impurity is formed in the electrode groove. A second part (20b) of the emitter layer by diffusing the second impurity.

摘要: PURPOSE: A substrate type solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce an efficiency loss of the solar cell by increasing adhesion between a second semiconductor layer and a front electrode. CONSTITUTION: A first semiconductor(100) is composed of a semiconductor wafer. A second semiconductor layer(200) is formed on one side of the first semiconductor layer. An anti-reflection layer(300) forms a contact section(350) by exposing a predetermined area. A third semiconductor layer(400) is formed on the other side of the first semiconductor layer. A rear electrode(500) is formed on the third semiconductor layer.

CONSTITUTION: A tool for fault recovery is held by a chuck installed in a head part of a processing apparatus. The tool for fault recovery insulates and separates local fault created on a film solar cell. The tool for fault recovery comprises a shank part and a knife end part(36). The shank part is held to the chuck. The knife end part has the blade of a knife at the front end. The width of the blade of the knife is less than 0.1mm. A thin film solar cell is placed at a table. A moving tool relatively transfers the table and the head part on a horizontal plane.

The doping depth(D2) of a second part of the emitter part is deeper than the doping depth(D1) of a first area of the emitter part. A first area comprises a plurality of projection parts having a first height to width ratio. A second area comprises a plurality of projection parts having a second height to width ratio.

CONSTITUTION: A nickel or cobalt layer is plated with photo induction. A silicide layer is arranged by RTA(Rapid Thermal Annealing) of the plated nickel or cobalt layer. A selective barrier layer is evaporated on the silicide layer. A copper layer is attached on a silicide/barrier film layer. A thin protection layer is chemically or electro-mechanically applied on the upper part of the copper layer.
