PURPOSE: A multi layer ceramic capacitor is provided to reduce acoustic noise generated in a multi layer ceramic capacitor by controlling the thickness of dielectrics and chip dielectric ratio. CONSTITUTION: A multi layer ceramic capacitor includes a ceramic body(100) and external electrodes(200a,200b). The ceramic body includes a plurality of dielectric layers. A first internal electrode and a second internal electrode are laminated to be faced with a plurality of dielectric layers. The particle diameter of the ceramic powder is between 50 micrometer and 130 micrometer. The ceramic powder includes BaTiO3 powder. The dielectric layer includes one or more MN oxide, Y oxide, Dy oxide, Mg oxide, and Xi oxide.

PURPOSE: A particle including the composite oxide and the composite carbide of calcium and magnesium, a method for manufacturing the particle, a furnace wall protecting additive including the same are provided to maintain the intensity of the particle by carbonizing the surface of a material containing the composite oxide. CONSTITUTION: A particle(10) includes a core part(11) and a surface layer(12). The core part includes the composite oxide of calcium and magnesium. The surface layer includes the composite carbide of the calcium and the magnesium. The core part is the massive body of the composite oxide or the molded body of the powdered composite oxide of the calcium and the magnesium. A binder is one selected from textrin, molasse, and Pregelatinized starch. The molded body includes 0.5-30 parts by weight of the binder, based on the 100.0 of the powdered composite oxide. The particle is obtained by contacting the core part with carbon dioxide.

Disclosed is a multilayer ceramic capacitor exhibiting excellent reliability in high-temperature load test even when a dielectric layer is formed thin. Specifically disclosed is a multilayer ceramic capacitor comprising a plurality of dielectric layers (5) composed of barium titanate crystal grains (11) having a pore (13) in a crystal grain, a plurality of internal electrode layers (7) formed between the dielectric layers (5), and an external electrode (3) electrically connected to the internal electrode layers (7). In this multilayer ceramic capacitor, the barium titanate crystal grains (11) has a core-shell structure which is composed of a core portion (11a) and a shell portion (11b) formed around the core portion (11a) and having a lower tetragonal ratio than the core portion (11a), and the pore (13) is mainly formed in the core portion (11a).

Disclosed is a corrosion resistant member (1) comprising a sintered material having an alpha-Al2O3 crystal (2) and an YAG (yttrium-aluminum-garnet) crystal (3). The corrosion resistant member (1) contains, as metal elements, 70 to 98% by mass (inclusive) of Al in terms of Al2O3 and 2 to 30% by mass of Y in terms of Y2O3. The corrosion resistant member (1) has a peak intensity ratio I116/I104 within the range from 0.94 to 1.98, preferably 1.21 or higher, wherein I116 and I104 represent peak intensities attributed to the (116) face and the (104) face, respectively, of an alpha-Al2O3 crystal as measured by X-ray diffractometry on its surface layer.

The invention thus provides that the raw material mixture of the material comprised of: component A, an alpha/beta SiAlON, and; component B, a hard material, has a composition consisting of 70 to 97 % by volume of component A and 3 to 30 % by volume of component B.
