    摘要: A method and apparatus worn by a user for controlling weeds using concentrated solar energy is disclosed. Solar energy may be concentrated by Fresnel lens over the wearer and directed by manual methods by the wearer at surfaces of weed plants to heat portions thereof causing damage. Shutters or other devices may be used to direct, and control intensity of concentrated, solar energy, such control preferably applied before significant concentration of the solar energy. In some embodiments, solar energy concentration apparatus may be integrated with solar photovoltaic cells for generating electric power for purposes such as an electrical temperature sensor, a camera and video display device for viewing underneath a crop canopy, control of solar intensity and other purposes.

    摘要: A towbar controlled steering system is disclosed. A towbar pivots about a pivot point on a wagon front axle, with steering rods connected to steered wheels. At the towbar, the steering rods are attached to a carriage that moves ends of the steering rods in front of (towing position) or behind (backing position) the towbar pivot point. When backing, the wheels are steered in opposite directions as sideways towbar displacement. An automated system senses towbar angle and attenuates steering sensitivity while backing to keep the wagon along a backwards track defined by the tow vehicle.

    摘要: A clip having a delivery shape and an implanted shape has a first and a second leg joined at their distal ends at a distal point of the clip. The distal point forms a tapered shape of the clip and is adapted to pierce tissue. Proximal ends of the first and second legs are spaced apart in the delivery shape by a first distance. The proximal ends are compressible to the implanted shape in which the legs are spaced apart by a second distance that is shorter than the first distance. A related delivery device, a related system, and a delivery method are also disclosed.

    摘要: A method for the coherent integration of Fill Pulses in Pulse Doppler Radar sensors is disclosed. The present invention uses a pre- and a post-coherent waveform transmission and reception period to collect transient signals from reflections of Fill Pulses throughout the range extent. It then reassembles these signals to produce additional coherently integrable pulses of interval returns that are input to the filter and coherently integrated along with normally coherently integrated pulses. The result is an improved Signal To Noise Ratio (SNR) and Signal To Clutter Ratio (SCR) which is related to the total number of pulses emitted, including the Fill Pulses. This improvement can be obtained almost solely by signal processing in a digitally controlled Radar, and requires few if any hardware modifications.

    摘要: The present disclosure generally pertains to in vivo drug development and delivery systems and methods. The systems include a hollow tubular assembly with a chamber for receiving and transmitting an ionizing substrate solution, and a structure to transmit non-radioactive ionizing radiation to the ionizing substrate solution. The resulting free radical drug is transferred directly into a patient treatment site through an applicator. The systems and methods described herein provide simple, inexpensive techniques for in vivo production of an optimal chemotherapeutic drug without the use of radioactive radiation and directly injecting the drug into the patient's tissue with very minimal systemic side-effects.
