摘要: A target air-fuel ratio setting part has a sub-feedback part, a target air-fuel ratio enriching part, and a target air-fuel ratio changeover part. The sub-feedback part variably sets a target air-fuel ratio upstream of a catalyst on the basis of a detection signal of an O2 sensor provided downstream of the catalyst. The target air-fuel ratio changeover part uses, as the target air-fuel ratio, a rich target air-fuel ratio which is set by the target air-fuel ratio enriching part on conditions such that the target air-fuel ratio set by the sub-feedback part is rich. A cylinder-by-cylinder air-fuel ratio estimation part calculates a cylinder-by-cylinder air-fuel ratio on the basis of a detection value of an air-fuel ratio sensor and the target air-fuel ratio.

摘要: An individual-cylinder air-fuel ratio estimation model is designed so as to consider the mixing of gases exhausted from adjacent combustion cylinders, and a movement by which a mixed gas arrives at the position of an air-fuel ratio sensor, in order that influences ascribable to the intervals (combustion intervals) of the adjacent combustion cylinders may be reflected on the estimation values of individual-cylinder air-fuel ratios. In evaluating the mixing of the gases which are exhausted from the adjacent combustion cylinders, there are considered the lengths and shapes of the exhaust manifolds of the respective combustion cylinders. In evaluating the movement by which the mixed gas arrives at the position of the air-fuel ratio sensor, there are considered a distance or volume from the confluence to the position of the air-fuel ratio sensor, and the exhaust gas quantities of the respective combustion cylinders.

摘要: [Problems] Prior art technology has a problem in that when a plant is cultivated for a long period of time on a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) film having its lower surface positioned in contact with a nutrient fluid, plant roots that have formed penetrate through the film.[Means to solve the problems] A plant cultivation system wherein the PVA film has an equilibrium degree of swelling in the range of from 125 to 250% as measured in water at 30° C. and has a loss tangent (tan δ) in the range of from 0.005 to 0.2 as measured in an equilibrium swollen state in water at 30° C., and a method for cultivating a plant by using this plant cultivation system.[Industrial applicability] Plant cultivation can be performed for a long period of time while avoiding infection by bacteria and the like causative of plant diseases. Therefore, the present invention is useful in, e.g., agriculture and the manufacture of pharmaceuticals.

摘要: An image capture device that can cut down power dissipation to a certain degree while carrying out an image stabilizing operation to a certain degree at any zoom power is provided. An image capture device that can change zoom powers includes: an optical system for producing a subject's image; an imager for capturing the subject's image that has been produced by the optical system; a compensation section for stabilizing the subject's image on the imager; and a control section for choosing one of multiple control modes according to the zoom power and controlling the compensation section in the control mode chosen. At least one of the control modes is defined so that the control section instructs the compensation section to stabilize the subject's image during a still picture shooting period and not to stabilize the subject's image during a non-shooting interval other than the still picture shooting period.
