摘要: The invention relates to a method for disabling a discontinuous transmission node DTX of a speech encoder if a music signal is detected in a call input signal. The music signal is detected by determining an activity factor corresponding to the relation of sound signal periods relative to scheme signal periods. If the activity factor is higher than a specified activity factor, the DTX is disabled.

摘要: A network entity and computer program for detecting occurrence of transmission resynchronizations in a network carrying packets subject to variable delays, and adaptively varying the play out time of data packets. The method may include that the packets are received at a network entity and forwarded by delaying them by a jitter protection time, and determining for a predetermined time period a set of arrival time jitter values. A peak to peak value may be determined indicating the largest difference among the values included in the determined set of arrival time jitter values and detecting an out of range condition. The peak to peak value may be compared with the jitter protection time when the out of range condition is detected and detecting that a resynchronization occurred on the basis of the comparing.

摘要: The present invention is concerned with a method, a network entity and computer program for detecting occurrence of transmission resynchronizations in a network carrying packets subject to variable delays. The present invention is further concerned with adaptively varying the play out time of data packets. According to a method embodying the invention, the packets are received at a network entity and forwarded by the network entity by delaying them of a jitter protection time. The method comprises determining (S110) for a predetermined time period a set of arrival time jitter values comprising values corresponding to jitters of data packet arrival time for at least a plurality of the received data packets. The method further comprises determining (S120) a peak to peak value indicating the largest difference among the values comprised in the determined set of arrival time jitter values and detecting (S130) an out of range condition when it is verified that at least one arrival time jitter value is larger than an upper threshold or at least one arrival time jitter value is smaller than a lower threshold. Moreover, the method comprises comparing (S140) the peak to peak value with the jitter protection time, when the out of range condition is detected and detecting (S150) that a resynchronization occurred on the basis of the comparing.

摘要: Describe is a video stream mixer (60) for generating a mixed encoded video stream from an encoded primary video stream associated with a primary window, and at least one encoded secondary video stream, each associated with a corresponding secondary window that is smaller than the primary window. The mixer includes the following elements: A video stream splitter (20) configured to split the encoded primary video stream into an encoded unmixed sub-stream associated with a sub-window in the primary window and not involved in mixing, and an encoded complementary sub-stream associated with a sub-window complementary to the other sub-window in the primary window and involved in mixing; A video stream decoder (22) configured to decode the complementary sub-stream and each secondary video stream; A video signal mixer (24) configured to mix the decoded complementary sub-stream with each decoded secondary video stream to form a mixed video signal; A video encoder (26) configured to encode the mixed video signal into an encoded mixed sub-stream; A video stream combiner (28) configured to combine the encoded unmixed sub-stream with the encoded mixed sub-stream.

摘要: An IPv6 mobile node is described herein that compresses a packet such that the compressed packet which includes an outer IP header, a compressed inner IP header and data can be sent within a bi-directional tunnel via one or more IP networks to a remote device (e.g., home agent, correspondent node, another mobile node). The IPv6 mobile node can also compress the outer IP header in the packet in addition to compressing the inner IP header if it is located in a wireless access network. The remote device can compress the packet in the same manner and send it to the IPv6 mobile node.
