Abstract:
A method for determining a destination call for use by an elevator installation with a control unit and at least one destination call device includes ascertaining several destination calls and making them known to the user by the destination call device. A destination call is selected by a change in position of the user and/or a data communication is activated between the destination call device and a communications unit, which is carried by the user, within a defined range of a radio link section of the destination call device and thereupon a destination call is selected by a change in position of the communications unit inside or outside the radio link section. The selected destination call is communicated to the control unit for serving the destination call.
Abstract:
The method of operating an elevator system in a building with at least one building door (2, 2′, 2″) includes through opening and/or closing the building door (2, 2′, 2″) the floor (1, 1′, 1″) of the opened and/or closed building door (2, 2′, 2″) is defined as the start floor and a destination call for an elevator car (7) to the start floor is actuated. As soon as the elevator car (7) has reached the start floor, an elevator door (3, 3′, 3″) of the start floor is opened. As soon as at least one user has entered the elevator car (7), the opened elevator door (3, 3′, 3″) is closed and the user is conveyed by the elevator car (7) to a destination floor, wherein the destination floor is defined by a destination call stored for a start floor.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of operating an elevator system in a building with at least two storeys (1, 1′, 1″), at least one elevator door (3, 3′, 3′) and at least one building door (2, 2′, 2″). Through opening and/or closing of a building door (2, 2′, 2″) the storey (1, 1′, 1″) of the opened and/or closed building door (2, 2′, 2″) is defined as stan storey and a destination call for an elevator cage (7) to the start storey is actuated: As soon as the elevator cage (7) has reached the start storey the elevator door (3, 3′, 3″) of the start storey is opened. As soon as at least one user has entered the elevator cage (7) the opened elevator door (3, 3′, 3″) is closed and the user is moved by the elevator cage (7) to a destination storey.
Abstract:
A method of controlling access to an area accessible by persons, particularly to a space closed by a door, includes providing a first mobile communications unit on which at least one access code is filed, at least one second mobile communications unit and a receiver unit for receiving the access code. The access code is transmitted by the first communications unit to the second communications unit. The access code is transmitted to the receiver unit by this second communications unit. After a successful checking of the access code by the receiver unit the door access is freed.
Abstract:
An apparatus for detecting excess speed of an elevator car travelling in an elevator shaft includes a vertically extending measuring strip is mounted at one side of the shaft and a multichannel forked light barrier assembly mounted on the car with a pair of legs extending on opposite sides of the strip. The measuring strip has a vertically extending markings track in the form of flags side-by-side with a check track, each of which is scanned by a separate light barrier transmitting a light beam between the legs of the forked light barrier assembly. At the position of each flag there is formed a window in the check track. The speed of the elevator car is measured by detecting the time required to pass each flag and the elevator car is stopped in the case of excess speed. By reason of the arrangement of the flag track and the check track, possible faults can be detected since one light barrier must always be interrupted by reason the flags and the windows.
Abstract:
A method of controlling access to an area accessible by persons, particularly to a space closed by a door, utilizes a first mobile communications unit on which at least one access code is filed and a receiver unit for receiving the access code. In a first variant of the method, when an activation signal is transmitted by the communications unit within a predetermined range of the receiver unit, the receiver unit is activated and the access code is transmitted from the communications unit to the receiver unit. After a successful check of the access code by the receiver unit the access is freed. In a second variant, when the activation signal is transmitted by the receiver unit within a predetermined range of the communications unit, the receiver unit is activated. The access code is subsequently transmitted from the communications unit to the receiver unit and after a successful check of the access code by the receiver unit the access is freed.
Abstract:
In a method for modernizing the control of an elevator system with at least one terminal, the terminal is updated with a control data packet for modernizing the control functions of the elevator system that is stored on a mobile control data storage element. In this method, via a near-field radio connection that is generated within a predefined distance between the mobile control data storage element and the terminal, the control data packet is transmitted from the control data storage element to the terminal, and the control data packet deposited in a memory unit of the terminal.
Abstract:
A system for transportation or access control of persons and/or goods in a building comprises at least one story terminal for recognition of at least one identification code of a person or an item, at least one data memory for storing at least one user profile with details with respect to a predefined destination story of the person or item or with details with respect to the access authorization of the person or item to a zone of the building, and at least one processor for associating a recognized identification code with a user profile. The processor and the data memory are arranged in at least one bus module. The bus module communicates, through a signal bus, details with respect to the predefined destination story of the person or item or details with respect to the access authorization of the person or item to the zone. A methodology for maintaining the system can be implemented through a computer program. The system can also be retrofitted into existing installations.
Abstract:
A person is detected before entering an elevator in a building, and a destination floor desired by the person is detected. When the person leaves the elevator, the floor on which the person leaves the elevator is detected using a further detecting device. An action is triggered if the floor on which the person leaves the elevator and the destination floor do not match.
Abstract:
A method of assigning a user to an elevator system with several elevators wherein a user issues a destination call, at least one elevator is determined to serve the destination call and is announced to the user by an acoustic signal that identifies the elevator. All of the signals that designate the different elevators are exclusively formed by one single single-frequency signal tone, the various signals that identify the individual elevators being distinguishable to the user by a predefined signal duration and/or at least one predefined signal interruption. The invention further relates to an elevator system that is equipped for this method.
