The composition preferably includes process oils; inorganic fillers and preferential plasticizers for the neutralized sulfonated EPDM terpolymer.

Flexible automobile exterior body parts are molded from a polyurethane elastomer prepared from a reaction mixture comprising:A. a poly(oxypropylene)-poly(oxyethylene) glycol of molecular weight of from about 1500 to about 4000 containing 15 to 50% by weight oxyethylene groups;B. a "graft" polyol of molecular weight from about 2500 to about 4500, prepared by the in situ polymerization of one or more ethylenically unsaturated monomers in a poly(oxypropylene) and/or poly(oxypropylene)-poly(oxyethylene) glycol containing less than 15% by weight oxyethylene groups;C. methylenebis(4-phenylisocyanate);D. 1,4-butanediol.The invention also relates to this polyurethane elastomer.

Thermoplastic copolymers are formed by the interaction of a 4-mercaptophenol and a dihalo-substituted aromatic sulfone of the structureX--phenylene-SO.sub.2 2-phenylene) .sub.y X, wherein y is 1 or 2. The latter are typified by 4,4'-dichlorodiphenyl sulfone and 4,4'-bis(4-chlorophenylsulfonyl)biphenyl. The mercoptophenol may have one or two lower alkyl groups ortho to the hydroxyl.The polymers are characterized by high glass transition temperatures and high impact strength.
