    摘要: An installation to provide data concerning an object. An electronic label, which includes data storage, is fixed on the object. The installation is capable of reading least part of the data stored by the label and is also capable of accessing a database which contains data concerning the object. The database is associated with an address in that database locating information is stored in the electronic label. The database is accessed on the basis of this locating data, which may be read by a reader. The installation may be used for marking and tracing gas packages.

    摘要: According to this process, there is produced gaseous nitrogen of medium purity under substantially the production pressure. This nitrogen is sent to the base of a distillation column (11) provided with a head condenser (23). The head condenser is cooled by means of liquid in the base of the low pressure column and if desired the liquid nitrogen at medium purity contained in a reservoir (10). Ultra-pure nitrogen is withdrawn as a product from the head of the column, and during periods of no production of nitrogen of medium purity and during periods in which the demand for ultra-pure nitrogen exceeds this production, there is sent to the base of the column gaseous reserve nitrogen of medium purity obtained from the liquid nitrogen of the reservoir and there is sent into the head condenser a relatively large flow of liquid nitrogen from this reservoir.

    摘要: A process for the integration of a cryogenic air separation plant and an oxy-combustion power plant is presented. This process includes producing a pressurized nitrogen stream and a pressurized oxygen stream within said cryogenic air separation plant. This process also includes burning a fuel stream thereby generating a steam stream from a boiler feed water stream, wherein said stream is used for work expansion within said oxy-combustion power plant. This process also includes heating said pressurized nitrogen stream and said pressurized oxygen stream with a compressed air stream that is extracted from the air compressor of said cryogenic air separation plant, thereby forming a heated pressurized nitrogen stream and a heated pressurized oxygen stream. This process also includes burning a fuel stream with said heated pressurized oxygen stream to produce a flue gas stream. This process also includes heating said heated pressurized nitrogen stream to form a hot pressurized nitrogen stream. This process also includes work expanding said hot pressurized nitrogen stream to a lower pressure thereby forming a hot exhaust nitrogen stream and recovering energy. And this process also includes heating said boiler feed water stream by indirect heat exchange with said hot exhaust nitrogen stream.

    摘要: A cryogenic process for the production of oxygen by cryogenic distillation using an air separation unit comprising a double column, said double column comprising a high pressure column and a low pressure column comprising the steps of: sending compressed, cooled and purified air to the high pressure column in gaseous form, sending oxygen enriched fluid from the bottom of the high pressure column to the low pressure column, removing nitrogen enriched gas from the top of the high pressure column, sending a first portion of nitrogen enriched gas to a lower reboiler in the low pressure column following compression in a cold compressor having a cryogenic inlet temperature, sending a second portion of nitrogen enriched gas to an upper reboiler in the low pressure column, sending nitrogen enriched liquid from at least one of the first and second reboilers to at least one of the high pressure column and the low pressure column, expanding a stream of nitrogen enriched gas from the high pressure column in an expander following a warming step, driving the cold compressor using a motor and producing oxygen rich gas from the low pressure column by at least one of the steps of removing a gaseous stream and by vaporizing a liquid stream.
