    摘要: A method for controlling operation of a refrigerator having two evaporators is provided which allows food to be effectively stored in refrigerating and freezing chambers of the refrigerator. A Refrigerating-Freezing (RF) cycle and/or a Freezing (F) cycle of the refrigerator and compressor operation are controlled based on temperatures of various chambers within the refrigerator. This may be further enhanced by also controlling operation of the evaporators and their respective evaporator fans to further optimize cooling output and efficiency. In this manner, the various refrigerating and freezing chambers of the refrigerator can be maintained at an appropriate temperature, power consumption is minimized, and load on the compressor can be adequately managed so as to provide for effective food storage.

    摘要: In an apparatus and a method for controlling a linear compressor, an apparatus for controlling a linear compressor includes a linear compressor adjusting a refrigerating capacity by a stroke voltage according to a stroke reference value, a current detecting unit detecting a current applied to the linear compressor, a work operation unit generating a work operation signal by integrating a current detected from the current detecting unit, a suction/discharge pressure difference storing unit storing a suction/discharge pressure difference according to the work operation signal, a microcomputer outputting a switching control signal according to the work operation signal and displaying the suction/discharge pressure difference according to the work operation signal, and an electric circuit unit controlling the linear compressor in accordance with the switching control signal. Accordingly it is possible to detect accurately a load of a linear compressor and control a linear compressor precisely by detecting a suction/discharge pressure difference according to a work operation signal obtained by integrating a current value according to a stroke reference value in accordance with a switching control signal of the microcomputer.

    摘要: An apparatus and a method for controlling operation of a linear compressor uses a pattern recognition for operating a compressor at an optimum efficiency by recognizing a trace in a graph about relation between a current and a displacement as a pattern and sensing variation of the pattern. The apparatus for controlling operation of the linear compressor using a pattern recognition includes a displacement calculating unit calculating a displacement by being inputted the current detected in the current detecting unit and the voltage detected in the voltage detecting unit, a pattern recognition unit being inputted the displacement outputted from the displacement calculating unit and the current outputted from the current detecting unit and detecting a pattern by using a trace corresponding to the displacement and the current, a stroke controlling unit being inputted a pattern from the pattern recognition unit and outputting a switching control signal according to the inputted pattern, and an electric circuit unit being inputted the switching control signal outputted from the stroke controlling unit and outputting a certain voltage to the linear compressor. Accordingly, it is possible to perform a TDC control of a piston considering an error due to non-linearity characteristics, improve an operation efficiency of a linear compressor and have a wide and precise control region.

    摘要: A refrigeration system is disposed within a refrigerator having a freezer compartment and a refrigeration compartment. The refrigeration system includes an evaporator having an inlet and an outlet. A damper is positioned so as to direct air flow into the freezer compartment or the refrigeration compartment and correspondingly block air flow to the other. A compressor is coupled to the evaporator via a conduit and a control valve is coupled to the inlet of the evaporator to control flow of refrigerant. A condenser is coupled to the control valve by a liquid line. A first temperature sensor is positioned so as to detect refrigerant temperature within the evaporator and a second temperature sensor is positioned so as to detect refrigerant temperature at the outlet of the evaporator. A first controller is coupled to the control valve and to the first and second temperature sensors to receive temperature signals therefrom. A second controller is coupled to the compressor to provide compressor signals thereto and to the damper to send damper signals thereto. The first controller controls the duty cycle of the control valve.
