The temperature control device includes a container configured to store a product and temperature control hardware configured to control a temperature within the container. The processing circuitry includes one or more processors configured to monitor the temperature cycles within the container, determine a duration of at least portions of each temperature cycle over a time period, determine a selected time value based on the duration of the portions of each temperature cycle, and update a time limit variable with the selected time value.

摘要: A refrigerator appliance assembly includes a cabinet having at least one chamber for receipt of an item, a door permitting access to the at least one chamber, a temperature port within the at least one chamber, and a temperature probe communicatively coupled with the temperature port. The temperature probe is configured to generate one or more first temperature signals representative of an actual temperature of at least one of the item or the at least one chamber. The refrigerator appliance also includes a controller communicatively coupled to the temperature probe. Thus, upon receipt of the one or more first temperature signals, the controller determines the actual temperature of at least one of the item or the at least one chamber. Further, the refrigerator appliance also includes a user interface communicatively coupled to the controller. Accordingly, the user interface displays the actual temperature to a user and allows the user to adjust the actual temperature of at least one of the item or the at least one chamber to a desired temperature of the item.

摘要: This invention consists in portable cryostat capsules built in several materials, dimensions and configurations according to the size of the biological refrigeratable samples to be cryopreserved and its cold storage requirements of these biological materials including umbilical cord blood, cells, semen, oocytes, tissues and bigger biological units such as organs for transplantation, entire animals or plants, including human organs or entire bodies in the cryo-medical practice. These capsules are all built in a form of thermoplastic cryostat with a cold source that is in contact with a myogenic tank, a cryo-liquid generator, a cryo-coolant unit and/or an hybrid unit (combination of an external cryogen supply in continuous flow with a closed cycle unit) and includes an outer casing and an inner vessel covered by a thermal insulating material consisting of vacuum, perlite or similar thermal insulator to inhibit the transfer of heat for the correct vitrification of the biological materials.

摘要: A refrigerator for storing products includes a sensor container configured to position at least one temperature sensor within a refrigerated interior in a cabinet of the refrigerator. The sensor container includes a main body portion enclosing a hollow interior space configured to receive a ballast liquid, and a plurality of dry wells which each extend generally horizontally between a closed end within the hollow interior space and an open end. The temperature sensors positioned in the dry wells are surrounded by ballast liquid but are not in direct contact with refrigerated air within the cabinet or the ballast liquid. The temperature measurements therefore approximate the thermal response of products (such as blood) stored in the cabinet without necessitating submersible sensors or a risk of liquid leaks. The temperature measurements may be sent to elements such as a chart recorder, and a display and alarm device associated with the refrigerator.

When a difference between a temperature of an inside of a freezer compartment and a set temperature is referred to as a first error temperature and when a difference between a temperature of an inside of a refrigerator compartment and the set temperature is referred to as a second error temperature, the method of controlling a refrigerator includes varying stroke of an inverter linear compressor to operate the inverter linear compressor by a maximum output when the first or second error temperature is higher than a maximum output temperature and varying the stroke of the inverter linear compressor at least once in a freezer or refrigerator cycle one period to operate the inverter linear compressor when the first or second error temperature is no more than the maximum output temperature.
