Abstract:
Various embodiments of a system and method for labor allocation across distinct processes of a materials handling facility are described. Embodiments may include a computer system configured to generate a model of a materials handling facility. The model may indicate, for each of multiple distinct quantities of work processed via a respective materials handling process, a quantity of labor resources processing that quantity of work in accordance with the respective materials handling process. The computer system may evaluate the model to determine that one or more additional labor resources are needed to process a particular quantity of work in accordance with a particular materials handling process. The computer system may select a labor resource processing a different quantity of work in accordance with a different materials handling process and generate an instruction that directs that labor resource to process the particular quantity of work via the particular materials handling process.
Abstract:
1- or 2- or 7-(substituted)-3-(optionally hetero)arylamino-[1H,2H]-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine-4,6(5H,7H)-dione derivatives, in free, salt or prodrug form, are useful as pharmaceuticals, particularly as phosphodiesterase 1 inhibitors, useful for the treatment of diseases involving disorders of the dopamine D1 receptor intracellular pathway, such as Parkinson's disease, depression, narcolepsy and damage to cognitive function, e.g., in schizophrenia or disorders that may be ameliorated through enhanced progesterone—signaling pathway, e.g., female sexual dysfunction.
Abstract:
One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for identifying a location of a mobile device (e.g., with user consent). A set of one or more indications of received signal strength (RSS) may be received, comprising a first RSS from a first access point (AP). The set of RSS indications may be used to identify a grid area, comprising a first grid space. An expected distance between the first grid space and the first AP may be identified using the first RSS. The expected distance can be combined with a first known distance between the first grid space and the first AP to determine a first grid score for the first grid space. A second grid score may be determined for a second grid space (e.g., and a third, fourth, etc.), and the grid space comprising a desired grid score (e.g., highest) may be selected as the mobile device location.
Abstract:
Optionally substituted 3-(thio, sulfinyl or sulfonyl)-7,8-dihydro-(1H or 2H)-imidazo[1,2-a]pyrazolo[4,3-e]pyrimidin-4(5H)-one or a substituted 3-(thio, sulfinyl or sulfonyl)-7,8,9-trihydro-(1H or 2H)-pyrimido[1,2-a]pyrazolo[4,3-e]pyrimidin-4(5H)-one compounds or Compounds of Formula (I), processes for their production, their use as pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical compositions comprising them.
Abstract:
Optionally substituted (5- or 7-amino)-3,4-dihydro-(optionally 4-oxo, 4-thioxo or 4-imino)-1H-pyrrolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-2(6H)-ones, Compounds of Formula I, processes for their production, their use as pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical compositions comprising them.
Abstract:
A computer-implemented method of estimating signal congestion in routing resources of a programmable logic device (PLD), wherein the routing resources include configurable interface blocks (CIBs) and wires of different types supported by the CIBs. The method includes identifying, from a representation of a PLD stored within a computer system, components of the PLD to be connected in a configuration of the PLD. A CIB associated with an identified PLD component is then selected. A wire type supported by the selected CIB is also selected. The number of wires of the selected type needed at the selected CIB to implement the PLD configuration and the number of wires of the selected type provided by the CIB are calculated. Signal congestion at the selected CIB is estimated from at least the needed number of wires and the provided number of wires.
Abstract:
Disclosed are various systems, methods, and other embodiments for processing and recording defects. In one embodiment, an application is executed in a server that processes and records defects detected by a user at a receiving station client. Based on a retrieved vendor profile, the application selects an inspection sequence for a user to execute. The inspection sequence is selected based on a history of defects specified in the vendor profile. The application also determines whether supervision is needed based on the performance of the user.
Abstract:
Disclosed are various embodiments of systems and methods for receiving shipment parcels at materials handling facilities. A parcel receiving system has an imaging tunnel through which shipment parcels received at a materials handling facility are passed. While a shipment parcel is passing through the imaging tunnel, a camera captures at least one image of the parcel. The parcel image is electronically analyzed to discover various tracking information and to detect various types of exceptions, such as damage to the parcel or defective tracking information. In addition, the captured image is stored in order to create a visual record of the parcel at the time of reception. This record may be used in a variety of ways, such as resolving or tracking exceptions or providing feedback to the vendor or shipment carrier. In addition, the parcel image may be viewed by a user to enable the user to detect and/or resolve an exception. Thus, the overall process of receiving parcels is facilitated, and the percentage of parcels diverted to an exception bin may be decreased.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cyclization process of forming a multiple ring compound from an isoprenoid compound. The cyclization process involves reacting the isoprenoid compound with an acetal initiator under conditions sufficient to form the multiple ring compound. The isoprenoid compound is contacted with an initiator and optionally with a catalyst. Cyclization occurs by reaction of the initiator with the isoprenoid compound. Cyclic acetal compounds wherein the acetal forms part of 6-membered unsaturated ring are also defined.
