Abstract:
A method for controlling supply of heat energy from a furnace to multiple dryers includes: determining a preset temperature, a preset humidity and a drying time for each of the dryers; calculating heat energy demand of each of the dryers according to the preset temperature, the preset humidity and the drying time of a respective one of the dryers, and calculating a fuel amount to be supplied to the furnace, and a volume of hot air to be supplied to each of the dryers; detecting a drying temperature in each of the dryers; and for each of the dryers, comparing the drying temperature and the preset temperature of the dryer, increasing the volume of hot air when the drying temperature is lower than the preset temperature, and decreasing the volume of hot air when the drying temperature is higher than the preset temperature.
Abstract:
A tip unit of a cosmetic applicator includes a tube portion connected to a hollow body of the cosmetic applicator, and a tip portion tapering away to a point from the tube portion. The tip portion has a passage space contain liquid cosmetics advanced from the hollow body through the tube portion, and has a plurality of flexible blade segments, a plurality of guiding grooves defined respectively by corresponding adjacent pairs of the blade segments, and a plurality of slits, each communicating the passage space with a respective one of the guiding grooves, and being enlargeable when the tip portion is deformed so as to permit flow of the liquid cosmetics from the passage space to the respective one of the guiding grooves therethrough.
Abstract:
A method of operating a radio frequency identification (RFID) system is provided. The method interrogates RFID tags with an RFID reader and provides at least some of the collected tag data to a mobile device that is unable to communicate with RFID tags using the over-the-air interface. In some situations, the RFID system obtains the current location of the mobile device and determines the location of a target tag relative to the current location of the mobile device. Locating the target tag in this manner involves the interrogation of a reference tag located at the mobile device, along with the target tag, using one RFID reader. The position of the target tag relative to the reference tag is calculated in response to the tag response signals obtained from the target and reference tags. Moreover, location of the target tag can be independently determined relative to the location of a mobile reader, by using a reference tag attached to a fixed reader or to the mobile reader.
Abstract:
RuCore—Ptshell nanocatalysts with 1˜3 atomic layers of Pt-shell were developed for enhancing the catalytic activities. Uniform atomic layers of Pt were successfully deposited on the core nanoparticles with high precision. Using such nanocatalysts as the cathode of the dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC), the efficiency of DSSC can be significantly increased. For direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) applications, much higher performance can also be achieved by using such RuCore—Ptshell nanocatalysts and the DMFC can be operated at room temperature without the need to raise the cell temperature to above room temperature (such as 80° C.).
Abstract:
A stirring control method is adapted for a combustion apparatus which includes a furnace for burning fuel material, and a stirring member rotatably disposed in the furnace for stirring the fuel material and ash resulting from burning of the fuel material. The stirring control method includes: controlling rotation of the stirring member at an initial rotational speed; determining whether a height of the fuel material reaches an upper detection range; generating an indication when the height of the fuel material reaches the upper detection range; determining whether the height of the fuel material reaches a lower detection range when the height of the fuel material does not reach the upper detection range; and controlling rotation of the stirring member at a rotational speed higher than the initial rotational speed when the height of the fuel material reaches the lower detection range.

Abstract:
A wrench includes a driving head, an axle hole formed at an end of the driving head, an accommodating portion disposed in the axle hole for accommodating pawls, a control ring contained in the axle hole and having an end extended out of the axle hole and coupled to a wrench handle, and a ratchet section and a smooth section defined on an external periphery of the control ring, and the ratchet section is provided for latching the pawls to define a fixed state of latching the wrench handle with the driving head and can be rotated into a secured status, and the smooth section is provided for pushing the pawls to release the fixed state of latching the control ring, so as to allow the wrench handle to be turned with respect to the driving head for a quick rotation.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting radiofrequency identification (RFID) interrogation signals is disclosed. The method comprises detecting a first movement of a user in a first direction, determining a command from the first movement, and transmitting a RFID interrogation signal in response to the command.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a driving method for increasing gray level, wherein the PWM mode is added into the FRM mode, and the PWM mode is implemented with the common drive circuit; the section of the horizontal synchronous signal of a frame interval is divided into multiple sub-sections according to the requirement of the PWM mode; the control of the length of the turn-on period within a frame interval is implemented with a redesigned control circuit, and none special drive circuit is needed.
Abstract:
A furnace includes: a furnace housing; a perforated tray mounted in the furnace housing; and a stirring rod disposed rotatably on the perforated tray. The stirring rod has top and bottom ends, two opposite lateral ends, a middle portion, and opposite first and second portions, each of which extends from the middle portion to a respective one of the lateral ends. Each of the first and second portions has an inclined face that extends between the top and bottom ends of the stirring rod from the respective one of the lateral ends toward the middle portion of the stirring rod, that is inclined relative to the perforated tray, and that faces toward the perforated tray.
