摘要: In a content retrieval device, a browser section generates a retrieval request for sub-content data to be retrieved presently. A protocol control section determines which communication path between a first communication path or a second communication path should be used prior to the reception of the sub-content data which is specified by the browser section. If the protocol control section determines that the first communication path is to be used, a first communication control section receives the sub-content data which is specified by the browser section from a content server. If the protocol control section determines that the second communication path is to be used, a second communication control section receives the sub-content data from the content server. In this way, the content retrieval device can select a suitable connection method prior to the reception of data.

摘要: A document processing apparatus that automatically carries out a transmission operation at the time of a link selection, which selects a telephone number described in the link information without carrying out a useless operation. The link information is the additional information which is not actually displayed, like as the HTML. The document processing apparatus includes a receiver for receiving the document; a link information extractor for extracting the link information from the document a display for displaying the document based on the link information extracted by the link information extractor; a selector for selecting the link information in the document; and a link operator controller for carrying out the transmission operation to another party, when the link information selected by the selector is the telephone number information.

摘要: The present invention provides a broadcast receiving terminal which improves power conservation, in which a user does not miss broadcast contents s/he likes. The broadcast receiving terminal (100) includes: a display unit (120) for displaying TV program content; a state administration unit (112) which judges whether or not to display the TV program content, based on the user's operation; and a first processing unit (110), which receives a digital broadcast wave and operates as follows: executes decoding on stream information, and causes the TV program content to be displayed in the display unit (120) when the TV program content are judged to be displayed. The first processing unit (110) presents an outline indicating real-time TV program information so that the outline is synchronized with the TV program content when the TV program content are judged not to be displayed.

摘要: There is provided a communication system capable of reducing the burden of the terminal that is connected to the Internet via the communication network such as the mobile telephone network, whose security is ensured, and is used to carry out the electronic commerce and the banking service. An encryption communication request generating portion (101) of a client system (100) sends out a security request of a communication route to a gateway server unit (200), an encryption communication controlling portion (203) of the gateway server unit sets up encryption communication between a content server unit (300) and the gateway server unit in response to this, the content server unit encrypts data to be transmitted to the client system and then transmits it to the gateway server unit, and an encryption communication controlling portion of the gateway server unit decrypts this data and transmits it to the client system. Encryption/decryption processing systems are not needed in the client system and thus the burden can be reduced.
