摘要: A defrosting control method for an air conditioner wherein when the frost amount of an outdoor heat exchanger becomes an allowable value or more during a heating operation, a defrosting operation is performed for defrosting the outdoor heat exchanger. A time period is calculated which is required for a room temperature to reach a preset temperature after the start of the heating operation by an inverter running at one of a predetermined plurality step of frequencies, in accordance with an environmental condition data. A frost amount of the outdoor heat exchanger is calculated in accordance with the environmental condition data, under the condition that the inverter runs for the calculated time period. There is selected an inverter output frequency from the plurality step of frequencies, the inverter output frequency allowing each of the calculated amounts to take the allowable value or less, the allowable value being determined as a level indicating the defrosting operation is unnecessary. The inverter or air conditioner is operated at the selected output frequency.

摘要: A portable air conditioning apparatus includes a refrigerating circuit comprising a variable capacity compressor and a condenser cooled by water fed from a water tank and a flow of air generated by a fan device, an inverter for outputing a variable driving frequency to the compressor, and a control section for controlling the frequency of the inverter in response to an air conditioning load in a defined space. The control section has a frequency control function by which the driving frequency of the inverter is forcibly decreased irrespective of the air conditioning load to reduce the consumption of water at the condenser when an amount of water is detected to be below a prescribed value in the water tank.

摘要: At the time of dehumidifying operation, a motor-operated expansion valve is controlled so that evaporation of a refrigerant will be completed in an auxiliary indoor heat exchanger which constitutes an indoor heat exchanger together with a main indoor heat exchanger. A louver is operated to form an air passage through which air discharged from the outlet port of an indoor unit flows to the inlet port. Owing to the formation of such an air passage from the outlet to the inlet port of the indoor unit, dehumidification is performed with outlet air kept from reaching the living space in the room.
