摘要: Provided is an indoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus capable of preventing crazing, which occurs in a fixing claw or a claw receiver due to intrusion of oil or solvent. The indoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus includes a rear casing and a front casing. An upper wall is formed, and an overlap portion is formed. The fixing claw is provided, and the claw receiver is provided. The upper wall has a front portion on a front side with respect to the fixing claw, and the claw receiver protrudes rearward from the overlap portion. A recessed portion which is opened upward is formed on a front side of the claw receiver of the overlap portion.

摘要: A cross-flow fan includes an impeller and a shaft. The impeller includes a plurality of support plates and a plurality of blades. The blades are different in a blade cross section orthogonal to an impeller rotational axis, and each have a plurality of regions arranged in a direction of the impeller rotational axis and a coupling portion formed so as to couple the plurality of regions to each other. A rib is formed on the coupling portion, or formed in a region adjacent to the coupling portion within a range separated away from the coupling portion by up to 20% of a length of the region adjacent to the coupling portion in the rotational axis direction.

摘要: An air conditioner (AC) indoor unit includes a housing having an inlet and an outlet; a heat exchanger arranged inside the housing; a blower fan for sucking in air at the inlet to be subject to heat exchange with the heat exchanger, and discharging the heat-exchanged air out of the outlet; and an air flow control device for controlling an air flow discharged from the outlet by sucking in air around the outlet. The AC indoor unit may control the direction of a discharged air flow without a conventional blade structure, thereby increasing an amount of discharged air, reducing circulation noise, and enabling design differentiation.

摘要: An air conditioning indoor unit includes a casing having an air outlet, a horizontal blade that changes an up and down direction flow of outlet air, a Coanda blade to change the outlet air to a Coanda airflow along an undersurface of the Coanda blade, and a control unit. The control unit adjusts a relative angle between the Coanda blade and the horizontal blade to selectively use either of a first airflow state and a second airflow state. In the first airflow state, the control unit adjusts the relative angle to a predetermined angle in a first angular range to produce the Coanda airflow on substantially an entire region of the undersurface of the Coanda blade. In the second airflow state, the control unit adjusts the relative angle to a predetermined angle in a second angular range larger than the first angular range to not produce the Coanda airflow.

When it is determined in step S3 that the swing range of the left/right flap is set (step S3: Yes), the left/right flap is once returned to the reference position (step S4), and then reciprocation of the left/right flap within the swing range is started (step S5).

摘要: A device for reducing sound from an air treatment unit includes, in one embodiment, a wall curb. The air treatment system includes a supply opening and a return opening. The wall curb includes a frame portion defining an interior chamber. A partition divides the interior chamber into a supply plenum in a first portion of the interior chamber and a return plenum in a second portion of the interior chamber. A curb supply opening is formed through the perimeter frame in communication with the supply plenum. A curb return opening is formed through the perimeter frame in communication with the return plenum. The curb return opening is positioned such that airflow through the return plenum is non-linear and a sound absorbing material may be positioned on at least some inside surfaces of the return plenum.

摘要: When a fully-closable expansion valve is used, there is a possibility that the expansion valve is fully closed thereby to block a refrigerant circuit. In an air conditioner 1 of the present invention, an indoor heat exchanger 14 includes an auxiliary heat exchanger 20 and a main heat exchanger 21 disposed leeward from the auxiliary heat exchanger 20. In an operation in a predetermined dehumidification operation mode, a liquid refrigerant supplied to the auxiliary heat exchanger 20 all evaporates midway in the auxiliary heat exchanger 20, i.e., before reaching the outlet. Therefore, only an upstream partial area in the auxiliary heat exchanger 20 is an evaporation region, while an area downstream of the evaporation region in the auxiliary heat exchanger 20 is a superheat region. Further, an evaporation temperature sensor 30 which detects an evaporation temperature is disposed downstream of an expansion valve 13 in an outdoor unit 3.
