    Abstract: Provided is a light-blocking film capable of efficiently blocking ultraviolet radiation in a long wavelength region of 380 nm to 400 nm with the use of a small amount of an ultraviolet absorber added thereto. The light-blocking film is characterized by comprising at least one triazine compound represented by the following Formula (1) as an ultraviolet absorber or having the triazine compound coated thereon: (wherein, R1 to R3 may be the same or different and each represent a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms or the like, with a proviso that the alkyl group and the like are optionally substituted with a hydroxy group or the like and optionally interrupted by an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, a carbonyl group, an ester group, an amide group or an imino group, the substitution and interruption optionally existing in combination; and R4 to R6 may be the same or different and each represent an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms or an alkenyl group having 2 to 8 carbon atoms).

    Abstract: Disclosed is a flame retardant composition that has excellent heat resistance and in which the risk of corroding processing machines at the time of compounding resin is reduced. The flame retardant composition includes 20 to 50 parts by mass of component (A) described below, 50 to 80 parts by mass of component (B) described below (the total of the component (A) and the component (B) is 100 parts by mass), and 0.01 to 5 parts by mass of component (C) described below:component (A): at least one type of melamine salt selected from melamine orthophosphate, melamine pyrophosphate, melamine polyphosphate, or a mixture including two or more types of the melamine salts;component (B): at least one type of piperazine salt selected from piperazine orthophosphate, piperazine pyrophosphate, piperazine polyphosphate, or a mixture including two or more types of the piperazine salts; andcomponent (C): a hydrotalcite compound.

    Abstract: Provided is a flame retardant resin composition excellent in flame retardancy, heat resistance in terms of heat deflection temperature, and processability and handling properties in terms of melt viscosity. The flame retardant resin composition includes 100 parts by mass of a synthetic resin and 0.5 to 20 parts by mass of a mixture of phosphoric esters represented by general formula (1): wherein R1 and R2 each represent a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and n represents an integer of 1 to 5. The mixture contains 70% to 75% by mass of the phosphoric ester of formula (1) wherein n=1, with the total of the phosphoric esters of formula (1) wherein n is 1 to 5 being taken as 100% by mass.
