Abstract:
Provided is a flame retardant composition capable of imparting a synthetic resin with excellent flame retardancy even when it is incorporated in a small amount. The flame retardant composition is characterized by comprising 20 to 50 parts by mass of the following component (A), 50 to 80 parts by mass of the following component (B) (with a proviso that the total amount of the components (A) and (B) is 100 parts by mass) and 0.5 to 15 parts by mass of the following component (C)-Component (A): a (poly)phosphate compound represented by the following Formula (1); Component (B): a (poly)phosphate compound represented by the following Formula (3); and Component (C): a polyhydric alcohol compound: (wherein, n represents a number of 1 to 100; X1 represents ammonia or a triazine derivative represented by the following Formula (2); and 0
Abstract:
Provided is a method of producing a stabilized polymer by which, while imparting sufficient stabilizing effect to the polymer of a monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated bond, the amount of residual solvent in the polymer can be reduced and the occurrence of foaming can be inhibited. The method of producing a stabilized polymer comprises the step of adding an antioxidant having a melting point of 70° C. or lower to a catalyst system or a polymerization system before or during polymerization of a monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated bond such that 0.005 to 0.5 parts by mass of the antioxidant is incorporated with respect to 100 parts by mass of a polymer obtained by the polymerization of the monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated bond.
Abstract:
Provided are: a clarifying agent composition in a powder form which has excellent fluidity; and a polyolefin-based resin composition capable of yielding a molded article having excellent clarity. The clarifying agent composition is obtained by heating a mixture in a range of 80 to 180° C., the mixture comprising: not less than 85% by mass of a benzylidene sorbitol compound represented by the following Formula (1): (wherein, R represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and R1, R2, R3 and R4 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms); 5 to 10% by mass of tetrakis[3(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionyloxymethyl]methane; and 6 to 9% by mass of a lubricant.
