Abstract: A user equipment (UE) includes a first subscriber identification module (SIM) and a second SIM. The UE is configured to establish a first cellular network connection based on, at least, the first SIM and a second cellular network connection based on, at least, the second SIM. The UE detects a collision between i) multiple paging occasions or ii) multiple paging frames. The UE then initiates a procedure for updating a paging occasion for the first cellular network connection. The UE monitors for a page over the first cellular network connection during the paging occasion.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses disclosed herein can compensate for imbalances between multiple transport streams of an uplink (UL)-multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) transmission. Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to managing access to 5G cellular baseband resources for 5G-capable wireless devices. A 5G-capable wireless device of an MNO, while connected to or camped on a legacy 4G LTE cell of the MNO and not engaged in a 4G only LTE service, determines whether an NSA 5G cell of another MNO satisfies performance criteria before measuring and/or sending measurement data for an NSA 4G LTE anchor cell associated with the NSA 5G cell to a wireless network. Refraining from measuring and/or sending measurement data under certain conditions causes the 5G-capable wireless device of the MNO to remain connected to or camped on the legacy 4G LTE cell of the MNO rather than reselecting or handing over to the NSA 4G LTE cell of another MNO. The 5G-capable wireless device also maintains a database of information for valid NSA 4G LTE cells to which to reselect/handover.

Abstract: Aspects are described for a user equipment (UE) comprising a transceiver configured to enable wireless communication with a base station; and a processor communicatively coupled to the transceiver. The processor is configured to receive a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource configuration from the base station, wherein the SRS resource configuration indicates at least a first SRS resource and a second SRS resource. Abstract: A device, system, and method performs a Voice over Long Term Evolution (LTE) (VoLTE) call setup procedure. The device includes a transceiver establishing a connection with a LTE network and an Internet Protocol (IP) Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). The device includes a processor executing a VoLTE call application with a further user equipment, receiving an input to execute the VoLTE call application, and generating a data packet including an indication to trigger a dedicated bearer establishment procedure. The transceiver transmits the data packet to one of the LTE network and the IMS. The indication triggers the dedicated bearer establishment procedure to be performed during a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) signal exchange procedure.

Abstract: A method for returning to a first network from a second network after premature termination of a CSFB voice call is provided. The method can include a wireless communication device storing cell information for the first network while connected to the first network; participating in a CSFB procedure to transition to the second network in response to initiation of a voice call; and determining that the voice call has prematurely terminated. In response to premature termination of the voice call, the method can further include performing a scan for a first network cell based on stored cell information for up to a maximum scan time period; reselecting to a first network cell in an instance in which a first network cell is identified by the scan; and camping on the second network in an instance in which a first network cell is not identified by the scan.

Abstract: A mobile device collects received information and processes it. In some instances, the mobile device detects, based on the collected information, that a base station is likely not legitimate, i.e., it is likely a fake base station, and the mobile device bars communication with the base station for a time. In some embodiments, the mobile device determines, based on the received information, that the base station is a genuine base station. When the mobile device determines that the base station is a genuine base station or the mobile device does not determine that it is likely the base station is a fake base station, the mobile device allows or continues communication with the base station.
