Abstract: Provided is a motorcycle tire that further improves wet grip performance during turning while ensuring rigidity during turning. Provided is a motorcycle tire in which: a tread portion is composed of a central rubber (11C) and a both-side rubber (11S) having a lower modulus than the central rubber (11C); the both-side rubber extends from the tire equator to from ¼ to ½ of the half width of the peripheral length; on a tire grounding portion, a first groove, a second groove and a third groove are included; a first bent portion, a second bent portion and a third bent portion of the first groove, an inner side end in the width direction of the second groove, and an inner side end in the width direction and an outer side end in the width direction of the third groove are positioned at from ½ to ⅝, from 1/16 to 3/16, from 3/16 to 5/16, from ½ to ¾, from 1/16 to 3/16, and from ⅝ to ⅞, respectively, of the half width of the peripheral length from the tire equator; and angles formed by a first groove portion, a second groove portion, a third groove portion, a fourth groove portion, the second groove, a fifth groove portion, and a sixth groove portion with respect to the circumferential directions are from 35 to 45°, from 55 to 65°, from 20 to 30°, from 55 to 65°, from 55 to 65°, from 55 to 65°, and from 15 to 25°, respectively.

Abstract: Provided is a pneumatic tire for two-wheeled motor vehicles in which the durability of bead portions is improved than in conventional tires. This pneumatic tire includes: a tread portion formed in an annular shape; side wall portions and bead portions, which continuously extend on the respective ends of the tread portion; a carcass 1 composed of at least three layers of carcass plies 1a, 1b and 1c which toroidally extend on the tire radial-direction inner side of the tread portion; a belt 2 composed of at least two belt layers 2a and 2b which are arranged on the tire radial-direction outer side of the carcass 1; and bead cores 3 embedded in the bead portions. In this pneumatic tire, the carcass plies 1a, 1b and 1c; have a bias structure and include at least two layers of turn-up carcass plies 1a and 1b which are folded back around the bead cores 3, and at least one layer of down carcass ply 1c which is arranged on the tire radial-direction outer side of the turn-up carcass plies and terminated on the tire width-direction outer side of the bead portions without being folded back around the bead cores 3.

Abstract: Provided is a pneumatic tire for motorcycles which can exhibit a performance of a new tire at an early period and enables visual confirmation that the tire as new is worn to such an extent as to be capable of sufficiently exhibiting its performance. The pneumatic tire for motorcycles includes a tread portion 10 formed into a ring shape, in which the tread portion 10 is provided with a width direction shallow groove 11b in which the shallow groove having a width of 0.1 to 2.0 mm and a depth of 0.1 to 2.0 mm is designed to extend at least in a tire width direction. A length of the width direction shallow groove 11b is greater than or equal to 50% of a width of a tire ground contact surface, and the width direction shallow groove 11b is provided at intervals which are shorter than a length of the tire ground contact surface.

Abstract: A tire used for the motorcycle tire and tire set includes: a crossing groove and a non-crossing groove. A groove group of the crossing groove and the non-crossing groove is repeatedly provided in tire circumferential direction so that adjacent groove groups are symmetric with respect to a tire equatorial plane. First, second, and fifth groove portions extend toward one side in tire circumferential direction and third and fourth groove portions extend toward the other side in tire circumferential direction. A first bend portion is located in a shoulder region nearer the one tread edge, a second bend portion is located in a middle region nearer the one tread edge, and a third bend portion is located in a middle region nearer the other tread edge. Inclination angles of the second, fourth and fifth groove portions are each larger than an inclination angle of the first groove portion.
