An outer side intermediate land portion and outer side shoulder land portion have lug grooves extending in a width direction while curving; one end of the lug grooves in the outer side shoulder land portion reaches a ground contact edge, while the other end terminates in the outer side shoulder land portion; one end of the lug grooves in the outer side intermediate land portion communicates with a shoulder main groove and the other end terminates in the outer side intermediate land portion; an opening end of the lug grooves in the outer side intermediate land portion with respect to the shoulder main groove exists on an extension line of the lug grooves in the outer side shoulder land portion; and a pair of lug grooves adjacent in the outer side intermediate land portion are disposed to not overlap each other in the circumferential direction.

摘要: A pneumatic tire may include: a carcass; a belt reinforcing structure comprising a plurality of belt layers that include at least one spiral belt layer and at least one zigzag belt layer; and a tread comprising two or more main grooves extending circumferentially continuously around the pneumatic tire and defining a plurality of ribs that include two axially outermost ribs. At 10% to 100% of rated pressure and no load, each of the two axially outermost ribs may be raised (e.g., by a gap of 1 mm to 7 mm) in relation to a respective next nearest rib located axially inward of the respective axially outermost rib.

摘要: A tread portion 2 can include an inner tread end, an outer tread end, circumferential grooves, and land portions. The circumferential grooves can include an inner shoulder circumferential groove and an outer shoulder circumferential groove. The land portions can include an inner shoulder land portion and an outer shoulder land portion. The inner shoulder land portion can include inner shoulder lateral grooves and inner shoulder sipes. The outer shoulder land portion can include outer shoulder lateral grooves and outer shoulder sipes. Each outer shoulder sipe can have a chamfered portion at each of sipe edges on both sides. The chamfered portion can have a chamfered width that increases from a terminating end side toward the outer shoulder circumferential groove.

摘要: Technique to increase the endurance of tires comprising two crossed working layers (41, 42), comprising mutually parallel reinforcing elements that form, with the circumferential direction (XX′) of the tire, an angle which is at least equal to 20° and at most equal to 50°. The reinforcing elements are made up of individual metal threads or monofilaments having a cross section which is at least equal to 0.20 mm and at most equal to 0.5 mm. The tire also comprises axially exterior sipes (24) having a mean width W at most equal to 1 mm, of a depth D at least equal to 5 mm and spaced apart, in the circumferential direction (XX′), by a circumferential spacing P at least equal to 4 mm, and axially exterior grooves (25) having a mean width W at least equal to 1 mm, of a depth D at most equal to 5 mm.

摘要: Tire with radial carcass reinforcement having a tread of thickness E, this tread having a tread surface and at least one cut opening onto the tread surface to form edge corners. The cut extends into the tread over a total depth H. The cut is in the form of a sipe having a width D. There is also formed, in the vicinity, i.e. at a minimum distance from the said edge corner that is at most equal to five times the width D of the cut, of at least one edge corner of this cut and on the tread surface, at least one cavity having a depth h that is small in comparison with the depth of the cut, i.e. that is at most equal to 30% of the depth H. The at least one cavity reduces the compression rigidity of the tread in the vicinity of the the at least one edge corner.

摘要: Present disclosure provides a tire including a summit surrounded on both sides by sidewalls, including a carcass reinforcement extending in the summit and the sidewalls, and anchored at its two ends in the beads, the carcass reinforcement being surmounted radially on the outside by a summit reinforcement composed of a plurality of reinforcing plies, said summit reinforcement being surmounted radially on the outside by a tread intended to come into contact with a ground during use of the tire, the tire comprising in its summit, at least one cavity acting as a resonator and in fluid communication with the outside of the tire, when the tire is mounted onto a mounting rim each cavity having an appropriate volume to form a calibrated resonator to attenuate the noise in a frequency range between 500 and 2000 Hz.

摘要: The invention provides for a heavy truck tire tread (1) having a longitudinal direction, a lateral direction and a thickness direction, said tread having a ground-engaging contact surface (CS) and comprising at least four main longitudinal grooves (3, 4, 5, 6) defining at least five main longitudinal ribs (9, 10, 11, 12, 13), the at least four main longitudinal grooves comprising at least one and not more than three open grooves (3, 6) and at least two partially hidden grooves (4, 5), each of said at least two partially hidden grooves comprising openings (41, 51) to the ground-engaging contact surface (CS) and an undersurface channel (42, 52) that is connected to the openings by ducts (43, 53) extending substantially in the thickness direction, longitudinal sipes (44, 54) extending substantially along the longitudinal direction connecting successive openings to the channel, said tread comprising at least two non-shoulder main ribs (10, 11, 12), said at least two non-shoulder main ribs comprising lateral sipes (105, 115, 125) extending in the lateral direction, the tread comprising at least 120 of said lateral sipes, wherein for each partially hidden groove: a total surface area of all openings is less than 200 cm2; an average height of said channel is greater than 5 mm; and an average section area of said channel is greater than 15 mm2.
