Abstract: A system for facilitating display of cardiac mapping information includes a catheter having one or more electrodes that measure electrical signals in the heart, and a processing unit. The processing unit receives the electrical signals from the catheter and receives an indication of a measurement location corresponding to each signal. The processing unit extracts a set of features from the signals, where each feature includes a value corresponding to a metric. A three-dimensional grid is constructed, wherein each node of the grid corresponds to a physical point in three-dimensional space. The system identifies a set of electrical signals in a neighborhood associated with a node; determines, based on the set of features extracted from the set of electrical signals, a node value; associates the node value with the node; and facilitates presentation of a map corresponding to a cardiac surface based on the node value.

Abstract: A system and method for voltage-guided anatomical shell editing includes outputting, to a display device, an anatomical shell of a cardiac structure. The anatomical shell is based on signals sensed by a mapping probe, each signal including a respective sensed voltage. User input specifying a first target depth for editing is received, as is a selection of a first region of the anatomical shell. A modified anatomical shell is generated by removing a first portion of the anatomical shell including the selected first region to a first editing depth based on the first target depth and generating a new surface region on the modified anatomical shell. Based on the voltage associated with the new surface region, the edit can be maintained, undone, and/or modified.

Abstract: A system includes a display device configured to present a cardiac map; and a processing unit configured to: receive electrical signals; generate the cardiac map; and facilitate display of the cardiac map, where each electrical signal corresponds to a map location. The processing unit is also configured to receive a user selection of a selected portion of the cardiac map, the selected portion including a set of map locations, each of the set of map locations corresponding to an electrical signal of a set of signals that is a subset of the received electrical signals. The set of map locations has a first spatial arrangement and the processing unit is configured to facilitate display of a set of electrical signal representations, each representation corresponding to one of the set of electrical signals, the set of electrical signal representations having a second spatial arrangement, which corresponds to the first spatial arrangement.

Abstract: Medical devices and method for generating multi-time scale waveforms for display of sensor measurements are disclosed. Sensed or measured output signals from a sensor, such as a catheter, are processed to generate a first data set that uses a first time scale and a second data set that uses a second time scale. The generated data sets are then displayed on a display by juxtaposing the first data set with the second data set. In this manner, measurement data from the sensor can be shown in dual time scales that allow for faster and more efficient visual diagnostic assessments.

Abstract: Embodiments for adjustable depth anatomical shell editing are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method for adjustable depth anatomical shell editing comprises: outputting, to a display device, a first anatomical shell of a cardiac structure, wherein the first anatomical shell is based on a plurality of signals sensed by a mapping probe; receiving, from a user input device, a selection of a portion of the first anatomical shell; generating a modified anatomical shell that has the selected portion removed to an approximate depth from the first anatomical shell, wherein the approximate depth is finite; and outputting, to the display device, the modified anatomical shell.
